The villa and cottages are situated in the centre of the Algarve in a quiet rural area with orange groves and olive trees, but also only 20 minutes drive to the seaside. In the large garden with tropical plants is a pool (14x5 m), barbecue area, 2 lawns,shelter with pooltable (works on 1 euro coins),darts, shuffle board and several places to sit privately. Ideal for your holiday with family and/or friends, but also if you only want to rent just one cottage for 2 people.

Occasionaly a shepherd passes with a large herd of sheep or a donkey-cart. Very close you can meet the friendly local people. Or you can visit nearby places, like the market town Messines, historical Silves with museums and castle, Monchique with its famous springs, old Roman baths and high mountains with stunning views. South you can go to the coast, with ancient fishermans villages or the more touristic seaside resorts. Directly south, just before Albufeira is the Algarve shopping centre with many restaurants and various shops, from smaller boutiques to large supermarkets.

Additional information about rental rates

  • We ask a safety deposit of £250 which will be returned at departure if there are no damages or loss of keys etc.
    Price for final cleaning 110 euros.
    Price for heating in the winter 20 euros per night.
  • Payment: the first 50% has to be payed at booking time. The second 50 % has to be payed 1 month before the beginning of your stay. If the booking time is less than 1 month before the beginning of your stay, the whole amount has to be payed at once at booking time.
    If you pay the whole amount in once at booking time and that is more than 4 months before the start of your stay, we give you a 10% discount.
    The booking is only then definite when the amount is received on our bankaccount and will then be confirmed by us.
  • We have 2 normal bikes and 6 mountain bikes. Rental rates: £3,5 per bike per day or £15 per bike per week.

Notes: The childrens bed is 120 x 60 cm with high sides. There is one extra foldable bed available which can be placed in 4 of the 5 bedrooms. Except the normal terrace furniture the 26 garden chairs include 12 portugees tiled seats in the barbecue area and a wooden bench in the garden Beach chairs are 2 sunbeds with normal mattresses and 6 sunbeds with waterproof mattresses. Bikes are 2 normal bikes and 6 mountain bikes which can be rented for 3,5 pounds per day per bike or 15 pounds per week per bike.

I would highly recommend this property to other holiday makers. The owners of the property are extremely helpful and went out of their way to ensure our family had an excellent holiday. We were provided with lots of information about local amenities to suit each memebr of the family which was greatly appreciated. The rooms are clean and spacious and there are lots of seating areas around the property. The boys enjoyed playing table tennis and darts and the children enjoyed playing in the games room which wasnamed the club house during our stay.

The local supermarket staff were friendly and helpful and the pub offered cheap booze and banter and had a pool table and some lovely parrots.

The taxi company Bravo Tur was extremely reliable and the drivers were friendly. We visited the Old Town of Albufiera which has great entertainment and stalls.

I would highly recommend the Aqua show, Aqua land and Krazi World as fun family days out.

Our large family group of 16 thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Quinta Brancor. The villa and cottages are of a very high standard. The large upstairs balcony is beautiful.

The kitchens in the cottages were ideal and the kitchen in the main vila was modern and extremely well equipped.

The pool was always clean and our family enjoyed spending lots of time lounging around there.

A five star property and service. Highly recommended for large family groups just like ours.
