Cerro Grande is a prestigious residential area on the western side of Albufeira. It is close to the new Albufeira marina, opened in 2004 . There is a supermarket, bar and pub/restaurant within 5 minutes' walk of the villa. Albufeira beach and the Old Town, with its picturesque cobbled streets are within 10 minutes' walk. Theme parks and water parks (Zoomarine and Aqualand) are a 15 minute drive/taxi away. Algarve Shopping (130 shops, cafes, 10-pin bowling, cinemas) is also 15 minutes' away. Salgados golf course is 15 minutes' drive away; the courses at Vilamoura are 20 minutes' away. There is a very efficient taxi service in Albufeira, so car hire is not essential unless you wish to explore further afield. Known as the 'St. Tropez' of the Algarve, Albufeira is one of the main tourist spots in Portugal. The beach is considered one of the best in the region. Famed for its nightlife, the town has plenty of bars, restaurants and discos, including English and Irish pubs.

Rates include one-way transfer from Faro Airport to the villa on arrival (for rental periods of one week or more) plus a welcome pack of provisions, maid service (Monday - Saturday excl. public holidays), provision of bed linen, kitchen and bathroom towels, and use of the Cerro Grande Swimming Pool/Bar. * An additional supplement of £25 per week (£3.50 per day) is charged from November to February which is offset against above-average consumption of electricity, based on meter readings at the beginning and end of your holiday. Depending on your level of consumption, this may be fully or partly refunded at the end of your stay.

Confirmation of your reservation is subject to payment of a 30% non-returnable deposit (payable in Sterling or Euros by electronic bank transfer). Payment of the balance is due six weeks before commencement of your holiday. Payment in full at the time of booking is required for holidays booked at less than six weeks' notice.

| Notes: | The living room/dining area and bedrooms have air-conditioning. Satellite TV and radio receives all UK BBC digital television and radio channels, plus ITV 1, 2 and 3, Channels 4 and 5, Sky News and other 'free to air' channels. There is a small collection of videos, Cd's, books, indoor games and children's beach toys for your enjoyment, plus a cool box which you are welcome to take to the beach. Please bring your own beach towels and do not take bathroom towels to the beach or pool. The Cerro Grande Pool/Bar is 5 minutes' walk from the villa. Fully attended (10.00 am to 7.00 pm) during the main holiday season. Drinks, light meals and snacks are available. Outside the main holiday season, access to the pool may be obtained through the local managing agent. Whilst we ask guests not to smoke inside the villa, you are welcome to smoke on the patio or on the roof terrace. Children's cots and high chairs are available for rent at a small additional cost. |
