This two storey detached villa is set in its own private gardens in the prestigious Dunas Douradas development. There is one double bedroom on first floor with ensuite & adjoining sun terrace with leafy views towards the ocean. Ground floor has 2 twin bedrooms. Extra fold away beds or cots can be provided for these rooms. There is a second bathroom & an additional toilet for the two ground floor bedrooms. All bedrooms have full air conditioning . There is a spacious lounge with air conditioning, cable TV and dining area with a table for 8. The kitchen is well equipped, incl. a microwave, dishwasher & fridge/freezer and a separate laundry room with washing machine. Outside is a large, secluded, sunny southwest facing terrace , built in barbecue & dining area, 8x4m pool (which can be heated), trees,lawns, garden furniture, sun loungers and a private driveway with parking for 2 cars. This is a lovely private villa amidst beautiful surroundings yet close to superb local amenities

  For all rentals there is a returnable damage deposit of £300.
  The swimming pool can be heated for £160 pw.
  (In typical Algarve summer season the pool will be warm without heating )
  Reasonable use of air conditioning or villa heating is included in rental for all seasons.

More about the villa

Our villa is in the established and attractive Area 4 and has a slightly elevated position giving long sunshine hours and nice open aspects, villas in this area typically have 1000 sq metre plots including ours. Dunas Douradas has 24 hour reception and security where keys can be collected on arrival.

TV and Internet

Our villa has 'Lazer' Cable TV with all UK BBC and ITV channels as well as Sky Sports and many other channels, over 60 in all. There is a 32 ' Sony Flatscreen TV and a DVD player. At no extra charge , there is a broadband wireless router in the villa so bring your lap tops for fast internet access either wireless or with your ethernet cable. Villa has a landline phone connected via Dunas Douradas switchboard. Phone can be enabled for full international access, please just settle the phone bill direct with Dunas Reception before leaving.

Dunas Douradas and environs

If you have not been to this part of the Algarve then you will probaly be pleasantly surprised by the general low rise, low density development, the leafy surroundings and the lack of building encroachment onto the beach and dunes areas. The Dunas Douradas Beach with its golden sands stretches literally for miles in each direction. Young children will enjoy the villa with its own pool as well as trips up to the Dunas resort area where they can swim in the pools and make new friends. Teenagers will enjoy an evening walk along the beach to the Vale Do Lobo 'Praca' with its nightlife . Tennis courts are available for rent at the Dunas resort but also at the Vale Do Lobo Tennis Academy 500 metres away. Horse riding is available at stables nearby and early morning beach rides are possible and memorable. There are many good restaurants in the area, several within walking distance and on ocean front, including Maria's, Julia's, That Shack, Antonia's , Izzy's, Sandbanks etc.

Golf Information:

There is an abundance of golf in the Algarve and within a few minutes drive there are several famous courses, including Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago, Pinheiros Altos, Vila Sol and the Vilamoura courses. The reception at Dunas can arrange golf at a number of courses & obtain a discount on the green fees. Depending on time of year this may need to be done well in advance.There is usually a regular Tuesday outing for Dunas guests, usually a Texas scramble, ( details at the pool bar). The driving range at Vale do Lobo is only a few minutes drive away.
