Whilst it is only a short walk into the village, where you will find numerous restaurants, why not take advantage of the large BBQ and try your hand at some Algarvian cuisine, washed down by a glass or two of the local wine of course!

Notes to the rental rates

  Flexible lengths of stay may be available.
  Where your holiday dates overlap a price change, the total rental price will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.
  Please enquire for exact cost.
  A 30% deposit secures your booking, with the balance due 8 weeks before your holiday.
  A refundable security/damage deposit of £200 is payable with the balance.
  Payment can be made by cheque, or preferably by bank transfer - account details will be given at the time of booking.
  
• Our prices are FULLY INCLUSIVE of Air-Conditioning in the summer, and logs for the fire for the cooler nights. Also included are maid service, all utilities, and even local telephone calls, as well as the occasional calls to home to let your family know you have arrived safely, for example.
  
• To offer you a warm welcome, a pack of essential items will be waiting for you on your arrival, and if you are travelling with little ones, we are happy to provide a baby and toddler pack. We are able to assist with car hire, or arrange an airport transfer for you, please just ask for details. WE are also able to offer discounts on golf packages, trips you may wish to take or any tourist attractions you may like to visit.

Babies and Children Welcome

We aim to make Villa Jolu an enjoyable place to stay for families with children of all ages, and as such we are pleased to provide the following items as standard: Stairgates, Cot & Bedding, High chair, Potty & Baby Bath. The swimming pool area has lockable gates to help prevent unsupervised access. We understand that travelling with young children can be difficult, (and seriously eat into your luggage allowance!), so to help we can offer, by request, the use of a stroller, microwave steriliser and playpen, and we can arrange for essentials such as nappies, wipes and formula to be there too, so please ask for details - we are happy to help.

About the Algarve

The Algarve is renowned for it’s golf, with courses too numerous to mention here. However, most golf courses will require you to provide your handicap certificate before allowing you to play a round and insist that you are wearing the correct kit, soft spikes etc. so please check with the individual golf course before you book, to avoid disappointment. Also renowned for its mild and sunny climate, It boasts an average of 3000 hours of sunshine per year - so don't forget your sunscreen! It is mild all year round with virtually no rain in the summer months. February sees the start of the spring and its warm in October.

The Algarve coastline has miles of glorious sandy beaches with their stunning rock formations. The interior from the coast greatly varies in its picturesque appeal due to its variety of fauna, soil and contours. In January and February the coast is painted white with almond blossom shading the many varieties of wild orchids. In March, the heady perfume of orange blossom mixes with the bloom of acacias. During the month of April the bountiful wild flowers give cause to the delightful music of the many colourful birds. May and June is the time to see the raw beauty of the striking bare barks of stripped cork trees in contrast to the palette purple of the jacaranda. July is the time of cherries, strawberries and melons. August and September provide the picking of grapes, figs and almonds. November is for the gathering of chestnuts, whilst in December it is time to start picking the famous sweet juicy Algarve oranges that continue through to March.
