Casa Kanbar is a lovely, family-owned 4-bedroom villa set in mature gardens with a lawn with its own lemon trees! It is situated in Mosqueira - a residential area of Albufeira, Algarve. A path leads through the front garden, with immaculate lawns and established trees and shrubs at the front and back of the house. Its slightly elevated position means that there are lovely sea views of the coastline from the large feature terrace off the main bedroom. There are a small number of restaurants/snack bars within walking distance of the villa – making it an excellent choice for those who don’t want to drive too far. Algarve Shopping is just ten minutes drive from Casa Kanbar - and there are numerous golf clubs close by. The house is very comfortably furnished, with air conditioning and is full of warmth and charm. It's very much a home from home and has an open fireplace in the centre of the main living room area - making this villa an ideal choice all year round!

Mosqueira is a well-established mainly residential area in the central Algarve region. As it is only 3km from the centre of Albufeira - shops and beaches and a wide range of restaurants are merely a short drive away. There are also a small number of family run, excellent value bars and restaurants within walking distance of the villa. Albufeira is also the centre point of the Algarve coast line and only 35 minutes to the airport of Faro, with excellent access to the Via do Infante motorway to Spain and the main road to Lisbon (approximately 2 hours drive).

    A refundable security deposit of EUR300 is required with each reservation. This is normally paid with your balance and is refunded about 10 days after departure once no breakages have been confirmed.

    Bookings made within 8 weeks of arrival date, full payment is required at time of booking.

    Reservations may be held for 5 days pending receipt of booking deposit.
  • We strongly recommend that you have sufficient travel insurance as deposits cannot be refunded.

    Cancellations within 8 weeks of arrival will be subject to 100% cancellation fee unless the villa is re-let.

  • A twin bedroom with en suite facilities and conservatory is located on the ground floor. A double bedroom with an adjacent bathroom is also located on the ground floor. This bathroom has a bath, toilet and bidet and is suitable for wheelchair access. On the first floor, two further bedrooms share the main bathroom with double sink and granite counters. There are french doors leading from the master bedroom to an enormous terrace to the front of the house offering beautiful, unobstructed views of the countryside and of the sea in the distance. This terrace has a table and four chairs and can be used for private sunbathing. The twin bedroom located on the first floor also has double doors leading out to a small terrace with panoramic views of the nearby countryside. All bedrooms have built-in wardrobes for storage.

Go-Karting: Almancil Karting is open the whole year. A 760m long race track, it is a replica of the former F1 Bralizian race track, Jacarepegua. The Almancil Karting is located nearby Almancil, IP1 Highway, National Road EN125 and the Faro International Airport. To get there use the East Exit of EN125 to Almancil, just 2 Km before the '4 Estradas' Crossway (Loulé / Quarteira) when coming from the Faro direction. Almancil is just 15 Km away from Faro.

We found Casa Kanbar to live up to all expectations. It is extremely spacious & well-equiped with all the mod cons you could want. Excellent service from the owner. A short taxi ride to the centre of Albufeira. There is a lovely, thoroughly authentic eatery nearby called 'Bar O Grillo' where the staff are friendly and facilitating. The villa is probably not suitable for those with very young children owing to the depth of the pool and its proximity to the road. The garden is gated, but if the lttle ones escape, they're potentally in real trouble as there is no footpath. Highly recommended for older kids & adults, girls' weekend, golf weekend etc. We would return.

Great Holiday in a Lovely Villa

Hi Helen,

Just a short email to say we all had a fantastic time in Portugal, the villa and pool was everything we could possible have dreamt it would be.

We had been looking forward to a cup of tea and snack when we arrived and the welcome pack was a treasure.

There was a short delay on the flights home due to Dublin Airport but we got back to the usual irish weather (wouldn't mind being back in Portugal).

Thanks for everything! It was great! We will certainly consider it again for next year!
