Villa Mimosa is a modern luxury villa on the safe Parque da Floresta (PDF) up-market family resort. You can enjoy playing tennis here, greens bowling, and golf on a stunning course. Guests enjoy a 40% discount on green fees. The villa sits in a beautiful mature garden of a third of an acre and has its own swimming pool. The resort has two excellent restaurants within walking distance. There are lots of great, good value restaurants nearby, and if you like fresh seafood, this is the place for you. A short drive will take you to several beautiful sandy beaches, like Salema, within minutes. The furnishings are best quality, three sofa's in the lounge are really comfortable and all the beds are orthopaedic. This is not your normal holiday let. All towels and linen are supplied, including pool towels and the maids come in once a week to change the beds and towels and clean the villa. Nearest Ferry: Santander Northern Spain at 1100 Kilometres
Nearest Train: Lagos at 10 Kilometres
Nearest Motorway: Lagos west (ouest) junction 1 at 10 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: Salema at 3 Kilometres

Parque da Floresta, resort is 10 kms west of Lagos on the main road to Sagres the N125. The Parque is in a National Conservation Area, and the whole area boast many clean sandy beaches. Lagos is a historic town which has been well conserved and has a strong character. It is a fifteen minute drive to Cape St Vincent, Europe's Land End. and the historic fort at Sagres. The 80km journey to and from Faro Airport takes about 1 hour max. because it is nearly all motorway. You can drive to Seville in Spain (300km) or to Lisbon (250 km). Both Journeys are nearly all motorway and take about a three hour drive. They are both well worth the effort. It is the perfect location for a family holiday.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Pool heating can be provided at an extra £100 per week, this is not necessary in high season
  • You will be met on arrival and asked to inspect the property, furniture and fittings
    Security deposit: a cheque for £600 with booking. The cheque will not be banked, and if there is no damage or losses your cheque will be sent back to you when the property is handed back by you and inspected by both parties. We have never had to retain a deposit yet. We have some wonderful considerate guests
  • The fully fitted kitchen has an Oven, hob, fridge-freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher and washing machine
    Every bedroom has a hair dryer.
