Just 15 minutes walk from the old town of Albufeira with its abundance of restaurants, bars, shops and nightlife plus magnificent golden sandy beaches. Also just a 7 minute walk from a selection of local bars, restaurants and a supermarket at Pateo. It is well furnished, with all accommodation on one level. The very spacious lounge has comfortable seating, satellite television, wireless internet a nice dining area with dining table and chairs. There is an open plan modern kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and a utility area with washing machine. There is a master double bedroom with full ensuite bathroom, an adjoining single bedroom, two twin bedrooms one with ensuite bathroom and three beds, and another shower room. Outside there is a huge swimming pool 11 x 7m, surrounded by sun terraces. The views from the villa are stunning, across open countryside to the sea and the location is ideal for easy access to enjoy the shopping, cafes, bars and restaurants of Albufeira.

Casa Lucia is located on the outskirts of Albufeira, in Pateo. Ideal for a quiet break but not too far away from the bustling resort of Albufeira's Old Town. Here, you will find an array of bars, shops and restaurants which come to life during both the day and night. We would recommend car hire for the Casa Lucia as not only is the heart of Albufeira a short drive away, but it gives you a chance to explore what else the Algavre has to offer. Why not try a day out in Vilamoura? A day out at Zoomarine park is always popular with the kids as they can view the dolphin show, bird watching or braving themselves against the alligators of the park! The fabulous beaches of Gale are also a short drive away, with Pateo offering supermarkets and small local bars and restaurants.

  • Car Hire strongly recommended to enjoy the surroundings of Albufeira, where you can visit the Old Town, Strip of Montechoro and try days out at Zoomarine, Gale or even shopping in nearby towns. Please enquire about any prices and availability when making you villa enquiry.
  • Only a 25% deposit of the total rental cost is required to secure a booking at Casa Lucia. Full balance not required until 8 weeks before you travel. We accept debit and switch cards (£1.95 charge), as well as credit and Master cards (subject to 3% handling fee). Final payment can be made by Bank Transfer..

Restaurants and Bars: The Algarve is famous for its Piri Piri chicken, fish markets and glorious sunshine! A wider selection of restaurants can be found in the Old Town of Albufeira as well as a great choice of bars along the famous 'Strip', which can both be accessed by taxi or car. Family orientated, the Algarve has everything from water parks to shopping centres and has plenty to keep the kids occupied. Gale also has a great choice of local bars and restaurants, as well as fantastic sandy beaches.

Weather and Temperature: The Algarve is known for its glorious sunshine and mild temperatures throughout the summer, with July and August being the hottest months of the year. Ideal golfing weather and sunbathing weather, so remember to bring your suncream!

Golf: Welcome to the finest golfing resort in Europe! Try the beginners courses in Albufeira or pro courses in Vilamoura. Courses include Salgados and Balaia nearby, however Vilamoura offers Pinhal, Old Course, Millennium and Vila Sol to name but a few.

Fantastic value for money

Initially when we arrived at the villa I was slightly concerned about how far it was from the main town, however do not be worried, the walk along the track takes approx 10mins, and there is a cafe on the main road that will book you a taxi, and it only costs around 7 Euros to get into the old town of Albufeira.
As far as the villa goes it was lovely and homely, with plenty of room and great facilities. The villa was very ‘rustic’, so don't expect it to be ultra modern, but for what you pay it is great value.
The living area was great, as it had a large sofa area with a large dinning table off of it, and the kitchen was open plan so it was very sociable. The kitchen has all the appliances that you require, with plenty of cups, plates, etc.
The pool area was lovely – Fantastic pool!! Plenty of sun-beds, etc. Would definitely recommend using the BBQ as we had two lovely meals on it, and with the outside table / seating area we had a lovely evening. The only thing that I would mention is that the walls are very low around the pool area, and there is quite a long drop, therefore if you have small children that are good at climbing then you may have a job on your hands!! We had a 1yr old with us who could walk, however we managed to block of any of the exits with sun-beds, but had she of been 6mths older the walls would have been an issue. Oh, and also, be aware of the electricity line above the pool as one of our party managed to quite seriously shock themselves whilst using the swimming pool cleaning net (it was quite a long metal pole which made contact with the electricity pylon!!).
All in all it was a fantastic place to stay, and it made our holiday fabulous.
Owner's Response: As well as taxis there is also the 'Giro' circuit bus that runs through Pateo and into Albufeira.
Although there is a line located approx 25m above the patio - it is confirmed to be a PT telephone cable and not electric.
