Notes to the rental rates

• Prices based on all rooms of the house being occupied. Smaller groups who do not occupy all rooms may incur a discount during certain times of the year, so please enquire, however this is subject to date of travel (i.e. excluding peak season dates).
  
• We recommend car hire for the Villa Filipa, as it gives you a chance to explore the Strip of Montechoro and perhaps excursions that you may not normally try, such as water parks or Zoomarine park. However, the Old Town is no more than 15 minute walk and there is a local choice of restaurants and shops to visit. The local supermarket is 5 minutes walk from the villa.
  
• Only 25% deposit of the total rental cost is required to secure a booking at Villa Filipa. Full balance is not required until 8 weeks before you travel. We accept debit and switch cards (no handling fee), with credit and Master cards incurring a 3% handling fee.

Villa Layout

Downstairs: 1 master twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom, 2 twin bedrooms and another full bathroom. Kitchen, lounge area and cloakroom toilet. Upstairs: 2 double bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms, 1 terrace with views to Albufeira and sea. Outside: 8x4m rectangular swimming pool, garden and terraced area.

Restaurants and Bars

The Algarve is famous for its Peri Peri chicken, fish markets and glorious sunshine! A wide selection of restaurants can be found in the Old Town of Albufeira as well as a great choice of bars along the famous 'Strip'. Family orientated, the Algarve has everything from water parks to shopping centres and has plenty to keep the kids occupied. Gale also has a good choice of local bars and restaurants, as well as sandy beaches to choose from.

Weather and Temperature

The Algarve is known for its glorious sunshine and mild temperatures throughout the summer, with July and August being the hottest months of the year. Ideal golfing weather and fabulous sunbathing weather, so remember to bring your suncream!

Golf Information:

Some of the finest golf courses lie in the Algarve, with Albufeira and Vilamoura being host to the more popular. Balaia and Salgados golf courses are closest to Villa Filipa. with Vila Sol, Millennium, Old Course and Pinhal all within 20 - 30 minute drive away in the sought after resort of Vilamoura.
