The large lounge & dinning area open out onto the rear veranda that over looks the well maintained garden. The rear veranda & garden are the perfect places for sunbathing & alfresco dinning. The ceramic tiled floors & high ceilings keeps the villa cool, offering rest bite from the heat of a summers day. This large family home is situated in a quite part of the village about a 10 minute walk from the nearest beech & supermarket. There are of course local fishmongers, butchers and a fruit & a vegetable market. The town beach offers sun lounger & parasols for hire along with a range of water based activities, this is the perfect beech for families with young children with shallow its waters.

Golf & other activities

Algarave is renowned for its golf courses, the closest to Villa Pauline is Parque da Floesta this is about a 10 minute drive. There are a number of other courses closer to Lagos the most notable being the coastal club at Palmares in Lagos. Sagres is famous for its Surf, there are two beaches within a 5 minute drive that provides fantastic surfing there are further beaches within the national park that are also great surfing beaches. The famous martinhal beach is also very popular with windsurfers. There is a diving school at the port this centre provides facilities for the experienced diver & classes for novices. For those who are adventures enough to want to catch there supper there are fishing trips from the harbour or alternatively you could spend a few hours fishing from the cliffs.

Local Nightlife

Sagres has dozens of restaurants offering a wide range of menues, rangeing from burgers & pizzas to regional cuisine including fantastic fresh seafood. There are many bars that cater for all tastes & for those who want to dance the night away there are two night clubs.

Local places of interest

The Alarve is a beautiful area of Portugal, one of the most spectacular sights that you could see is the sun setting at cape St Vincent. This is less than a ten minute drive from the villa & is the most southwesterly point of Europe. Also on the door step is the famous Fortaleaza this is said to be the original site for the naval school founded by Henryy the navigator in the 15th century. Monichique is a mountain spa to the north of Portimao it is also well worth a visit to experience the views. The wild undeveloped coastline to the north of vila da Bispo provides wonderful coastal walks along the cliff tops.
