This spacious detached villa is situated on the unspoilt western strip of the Algarve. In 2.5 acres of our own land and acres of National Park land, which is all part of a national preservation area. It's entirely alone, so NO next-door neighbours to worry about. In its elevated & secluded position, there are panoramic views of Parque Da Floresta Golf Course (which is just across the road)with its tennis courts,clubhouse, restaurant, fitness & beauty spa, & Budens village, which is only 5 mins walking distance.which has a supermarket & several restaurants & cafes dotted around. Salema beach is just over a mile away, but there are several beaches along that coastal strip to choose from. Burgau and Praia da Luz 6-8 mins drive are quite popular with tourists and hold plenty of night life.Lagos a beautiful historic town is 10 mins by car, with a variety of restaurants, cafes & shops. It boasts a beautiful marina where a boat departs daily for Dolphin Watching and an amazing promenade.

Notes: Hand and bath towels provided, as well as tea towels and bed linen. Beach and poolside towels are not provided. The kitchen/diner has a pine table with seating for 10. A high chair is available at no extra cost, as well as the cots listed above, which are travel cots, and one can be made into a playpen. The pool area is extremely large peaceful and very private, (with no next door neighbours to worry about). There is a covered area for eating outside, a poolside shower and a large purpose built B B Q. The whole area is walled, so if you have any toddlers they can't escape! In addition, the front of the villa is a very large area, with wonderful views of the golf course, village and surrounding areas. It's also ideal for games. The lounge has a TV, DVD player and hi-fi system. Also has a beautiful fireplace as a central feature.

Budens, Salema, Sagres, Luz, Lagos: BUDENS is a typical Portuguese village, with a few restaurants & cafes, a supermarket, as well as the old bakery & a lovely 17 century church. Also PARQUE DA FLORESTA GOLF COURSE is nearby. Close by, the popular resorts of BURGAU & PRAIA DA LUZ; approx 5-8 mins away by car. These resorts offer a wide variety of restaurants cafes & bars, SCUABA DIVING, WINDSURFING & HORSE RIDING, as well as a good night life. LAGOS:10 mins away by car is a beautiful historical town with lovely shops that specialise in silver, pottery, copper, leather & filigree. It has a wonderful Promenade and a beautiful Marina, where a boat departs daily for DOLPHIN WATCHING. ZOO LAGOS is quite popular and there's also a WINDSURFING CENTRE. BEACHES; SALEMA is the nearest approx 1 mile away. There are several beaches on that coastal strip including Ingrina, so beautiful & secluded. SAGRES & CAPE DE ST VINCENT is an ancient maritime port the LANDS END of EUROPE. The Lighthouse & the Old Fort are a must to see.

Parque Da Floresta Golf Course: PARQUE DA FLORESTA GOLF COURSE lies between the Moorish town of Lagos & the ancient maritime port of SAGRES at the heart of Portugal's unspoilt WESTERN ALGARVE. It's just across the road from Villa Santa Maria, boasting spectacular views and a wonderful array of flowers plants & eucalyptus trees.(Villa Santa Maria can be seen from many aspects of the course). It has a GOLF ACADAMY and short game practice. This resort offers a host of leisure activities; 3 PUTTING GREENS, TENNIS, HORSE RIDING, BOWLING, MOUNTAIN BIKING, JEEP SAFARIS etc. It also has Spa Floresta - a health, fitness and beauty spa. There is also a cash machine just outside the Reception area. RESTAURANTS: The Clubhouse & Bar overlooks the 18th hole. The Bowling Clubhouse, Bistro & Tennis Bar are open daily. The 'O Parque' is for evening meals with an a la carte menu & can also be booked at Reception.

We were 10 adults and 2 small childrfen (age 6 and 2) and we had a lovely holiday.
The premisses is excellent for a hole family. We were 4 generations.
It was nice with the daily cleaning, allthoug they did not appear 2 days aside from Sundays.
