Notes: The Villa is extremely well equipped. House linen is changed weekly and towels are changed twice a week. Please bring your own beach towels. There is a maid service twice a week. The kitchen has a large fridge freezer which is ideal for families as it means you won't have to go to the shop everyday. There are very reasonable supermarkets in Algarve shopping which means you can go there and stock up the fridge for much cheaper than at home!! There is also a dishwasher in the kitchen so you can just load it and go! The living room had a large T.V. and DVD player, so bring your DVD's for the little ones for the evening time to watch while you get ready to go out! There is a laundry room at the back of the resort which has a self service washing machine and dryer. Air Conditioning or heating throughout the Villa is included in the price. A mini-Bus service (5-10min drive) operates from the resort 5 times a day into the centre of Albufeira in peak season.

The Villa is set in a stunning estate which is only thirty minutes from Faro International Airport, about a five minute drive to the old town of Albufeira and a short drive to the nearest Golf Courses. Resort amenities include 2 Pools, mini-golf, tennis, giant chess, children's playground and a games room offering pool, billiards, video games and internet access. On site restaurant with excellent regional and International cuisine, bar and snack bar.

Local Attractions:: Zoomarine: An amazing water park for all the family - the kids will love it. Golfing: Nearest golf course, Salgados is five minutes drive. Marina: Albufeira Marina is only a 15 minute walk away! Algarve shopping: The new 'Algarve Shopping' complex with cinema and bowling ia about a five minute drive away

Reception can organise many day trips, discounted golf and taxis. Many very good restaurants and shops are within a 5-10 minute walk from the resort.

A very pleasant stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Ponte Grande and it's proximity to Albufeira. The villa was very spacious and well equipped and had one of the best locations on the complex. My only complaint would be that there were not enough sunbeds around the pool.To really enjoy the area we would say that a car was essential. The beach at San Rafael was lovely but very crowded in the afternoons.
