Our luxurious air-conditioned villa complete with spa bath and private pool commands an elevated position with stunning panoramic views overlooking Tavira, Atlantic Ocean and the beautiful rural Algarve to the East and West. Large terraces on all levels surround the accommodation which comprises of five bedrooms, five bathrooms (three en suite). We can provide for between 6 to 10 persons. Fully fitted kitchen, separate dining room and spacious lounge leading to a large pool/alfresco dining area with built-in BBQ. We have just completed a Professional Putting Green on one of the lower terraces, putters and balls provided. You are within an easy10 minute drive to Tavira, the Golf courses of Benamor, Quinta de Cima and Quinta de Ria are within 15 minutes and Spain is less than half an hour away. Despite being less than 7 miles from Tavira the feeling of peace and tranquillity pervades the hillside while hosting many species of wildlife including Red legged Partridge, Azure Magpies, Mongoose, Badger, Rabbits and the beautiful Golden Eagle (Aguia). Many lovely and interesting walks radiate from the villa including the one to Santa Maria Monastery and another to the deserted village of Zimbra, which meander through small fertile valleys and over hill peaks offering stupendous views, however there is little shade and a hat and water bottle are essential equipment. As the countryside is criss-crossed with level and generally well maintained dirt roads, it is an ideal location for cycling and mountain biking. Available from the owners FOC. A delightful tavern “The Belavista” is to be found around 2 Km’s down the road to Tavira and a small well stocked shop can be found a further 200 Km’s further.

Notes: The villa has air/con, located in the kitchen, dining room, lounge, the two master bedrooms and the lower level bedroom 5, the other bedrooms have ceiling fans. The spa bath is next to the pool and easily seats 6. The lounge has a 21' Colour TV, with SKY/Digital connection, video library and portable CD/Tape player, very comfortable 3 seater settee and 2 armchairs with a nest of three tables for coffee cups etc situated around a log fire. The dining area is furnished with a large table and 6 chairs and undercover alfresco dining for ten with lovely views to the Atlantic. The fully fitted kitchen with electric cooker and Halogen hob with rotisserie in the oven, toaster, kettle, lots of cutlery and cups, glasses etc, and a large selection of cooking utensils, sufficient to prepare a dinner party for up to 10 Adults. 2 Master bedrooms with 2 Super Kingsize beds or 4 divans; Bedroom 3 - Super Kingsize or 2 divans; Bedroom 4 - Super Kingsize; Bedroom 5 (annex) - 2 divan

Notes on Accommodation: The private pool is 10 x 5 Metres with Roman head and steps for easy access to the shallow end (5 ft) gently sloping down to the deep end (8 ft) for an infinity effect. For the late night dip there is underwater lighting. There is also a traditional built in BBQ for the men to provide the cuisine! The pool is cleaned and water tested twice a week. Fresh linen and towels are changed on Saturdays. Beach & swimming pool towels are not supplied. Ian and Samantha, our managers are very helpful, they know the best places to visit and are only to happy to help you.

Local Amenities: Within 10 minutes you can find the wonderful beach island of Tavira which is considered one of the best in the Algarve, it can be reached via a regular ferry boat and is sandy and safe for children. Golf: Not only has the Algarve the best golfing climate in Europe it also has some of the best courses and facilities. To the West, Benamor, Quinta de Cima and the Quinta de Ria are within 15 minutes, Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo courses are within 45 minutes of the villa and Vilamoura a further 15 minutes further on. To the East, Castro Marim is only 15 minutes away. You can practice your putting before you go on our superb putting green.

This is our third holiday at the Villa, The feeling you get is of being in a special place, with 360 degree breathtaking views, a pool that you can float in and look out across the hills to the sea.The villa and grounds are of a very high standard and the English couple who look after it are wonderfull and can advise on any Holiday question.We like the fact that you have privacy but do not feel isolated.Tavira which is a short ride away provides everything from a newspaper to all provisions.There are all types of eating places and good walks.Over the last ten years we have rented villas in the Algarve but this is not only the best villa but in the best location.

We had a really nice holiday at this wonderful villa, nicely situated in the hills. Both the indoor and outdoor facilities was of high quality and of good quality.
