Despite being less than 7 miles from Tavira the feeling of peace and tranquillity pervades the hillside while hosting many species of wildlife including, Red legged Partridge, Azure Magpies, Mongoose, Badger, Rabbits and beautiful Golden Eagle (Agias).
Many lovely and interesting walks radiate from the villa including the one to Santa Maria Monastery and another to the deserted village of Zimbral and which meander through small fertile valleys and over hill peaks offering stupendous views, however there is little shade and a hat and water bottle are essential equipment.
A delightful tavern “The Belavista” is to be found around 2 Km’s down the road to Tavira and a small well stocked shop can be found a further 200 Km’s further.

Not only has the Algarve the best golfing climate in Europe it also has some of the best courses and facilities.
