Villa 11B is a semidetached villa located on the private Quinta Da Saudade estate, 7 km west of Albufeira. The 'Quinta' was originally a working farm set in a river valley and the development of some 26 villas set on different levels now occupies 25 acres of this tranquil hillside location. The villa with modern kitchen and bathroom is fully furnished and provides views of the Quinta the nearby lagoon and the sea. It has both a roof terrace and a large sun terrace with built in barbecue. A maid service is provided. The site has its own restaurant / bar, 2 swimming pools, tennis court, mini golf, pool snack bar (seasonal), children's play area (with paddling pool) and working stables for horse riding, all set in an area of orange grove, almond, olive, and pomegranate trees. Nearby facilities include local restaurants, golf, fishing, surfing, bird watching and walking. Beautiful sandy beaches with own beach bars are close at hand.

Quinta da Saudade is located in Vale da Parra approx 5 miles from Albufeira. The nearest beach, Pria Grande is some 4 Km long, adjacent to which is Salgados Golf Course. A large lagoon separated from the sea by sand dunes is a famous refuge for migrating birds. The area is dotted with quality restaurants and there are plenty of licenced snack bars also. Shopping for provisions is easy in the local mini markets. In nearby Guia (famous for inventing piri piri chicken) there is 'Al;garve Shopping' a large modern shopping complex which also includes cinema and ten pin bowling. Zoomarine is a visitor attraction with performing aquamarine mammals - sea lions, seals, and dolphins. A new shark pool, displays by birds of prey, and parrots complement these together with ferris wheel , rides etc.

We have just returned from a wonderful week staying in this villa. If you want peace and tranquillity this is the place for you. The location is also ideally situated to explore the whole of the Algarve. The villa is comfortable and very well equipped with everything you need and kept spotlessly clean by the daily maid service. The Quinta is also kept to a high standard with 2 swimming pools gardens and stables. The restaurant at the Quinta deserves a special mention offering first class food with excellent service. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

My family and two friends spent two weeks last summer in Quinta da Saudade. We found a lovely villa awaiting us. It has two double bedrooms, a pleasant sitting room and a very well equipped kitchen, as well as an attractive bathroom with a shower and bath. And perhaps best of all, it has a very spacious terrace with sun-loungers, barbeque, table and chairs. It is totally private with beautiful views across open countryside.

The complex itself is very quiet and relaxed with two lovely swimming pools, a bar/cafe and a restaurant; and a variety of activities including horse riding. It is within easy reach of picturesque beaches and a variety of restaurants.

We can thoroughly recommend this to anyone wanting a totally relaxing family – or just couple - holiday in the beautiful Algarve. Oh yes I nearly forgot, it has a full maid service. Excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.
