Carob Tree is a luxuriously appointed villa with three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom en suite, a large fully equipped up-to-date kitchen, and a sitting/dining room with satellite television, CD and video. There are two twin bedrooms on the ground floor, each with adjoining bathroom en suite with bath, shower and toilet. Upstairs, there is a double bedroom with bathroom, sitting room and private terrace - the idea place to escape from younger members of the family. The terrace with shaded seating area is equipped with barbeque and sun-loungers around a generous 10m x 5m (30x15ft) swimming pool. The extensive garden is predominantly lawn with shrubs. Carob Tree is a discrete mile of so from the resort of Vale do Lobo and just 2 miles from Quinta do Lago, in quiet countryside. It has a couple of restaurants and a small supermarket just steps away.

Carob Tree Villa is set in delightful countryside between Vale do Lobo and Almancil, close to the golf courses and unspoilt golden beaches of Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura. Barringtons Golf and Health Spa provides a wide range of sports facilities just a mile from the villa. Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura are home to many restaurants, including the Michelin starred Ermitage (2 minutes from Carob Tree Villa). Vale do Lobo hosts a disco for younger family members on the seafront during July and August, and the Vilamoura marina hosts a range of entertainments aimed at younger visitors. There are several water parks in the area, and Zoomarine at Alcantarilha (just west of Albufeira and around 20 miles from Almancil) has dolphin, seal and sea lion shows, very popular with kids of all ages.
