Location & Access:
The property is located in one of the nicest residential areas in Cascais. Cascais is about a 30 min drive along the A5 motorway. The nearest airport is Lisbon International Airport.
Flights from the UK from London Heathrow can be booked with British Airways or TAP (Portuguese national airline). Airlines such as BMI Baby and Easy Jet also fly to Lisbon.
Hire a car at the airport and the drive is around 30mins.
The property is located only 5 mins walk from the centre of down town Cascais and there is so much do to in the surrounding area.
Golf :
Portugal is a golfer’s paradise. The Costa do Estoril is the ideal location for golfers with many excellent courses within a short drive. The golf courses of Oitavos, Quinta da Marinha, Quinta da Beloura, Estoril (27 holes) are nearby (5 mins drive). Penha Longa (27 holes), Belas, the Lisbon Sports Club are within a 20 min drive. Within an hour’s drive are Praia D’El Rey, Ribagolfe I & II, St Estavao, Qtª do Peru, Aroeira I & II, Montado and Troia.
The Atlântico da Penha Longa course has already been the scene of several European Tour competitions. This hilly course offers broad magnificent views over the countryside that surrounds you with the mountains and the sea. The Quinta da Marinha Oitavos course, the newest in the region, designed by the famous American architect Arthur Hills, is the first course in Europe and the second in the world to have the Audubon International ‘Certified Signature Sanctuary/Gold’. With excellent views over the Palácio da Pena and Cabo da Roca.

Situated not far from Cascais is Sintra, classified by UNECSO as a world heritage area. Sintra is a historical town located in the mountains which overlooks the sea and is full of national importance and unique charm.
Take a day trip to the capital Lisbon and discover some of the historical attractions. The best way to get to Lisbon is on the picturesque 35 minute train ride along the coastline. You can get off at Belem and visit Jeronimos Monastery and the Belem Tower, or go all the way to the terminal station Cais do Sodre where you can get onto the Lisbon Underground system (Metro). The city boasts an abundance of historical and modern charm. The Barrio Alto area in Lisbon is one of the most characteristic and attractive neighbourhoods in the city, combining traditional and modern Portugal.
