The ' Quinta dos Quatro Ventos' is the home of artists Chris and Tom Bund, and the Bungalows are dotted around the terraced grounds with uninterrupted seaviews. The village of Azoia is within sight of the Lighthouse on Europe's most western point on a fabulous historic Mountain range within easy reach of Sintra, Estoril and Cascais. Lisbon with its International Airport is just 25 miles away. ****Not suitable for children****

The Canas is a comfortable wooden Chalet a little closer to the main house, but still with uninterrupted sea views. It sleeps two in a Studio layout with breakfast table, a fully equipped kitchennette and en-suite toilette/shower room.

Nearest Beach: beach at 5 Kilometres
Azoia, on Europe's most western is 15 minutes away from beaches, 20 minutes from Cascais, Estoril or Sintra and 25 miles from Lisbon and the Airport. We have several small cafes in the Village, a small Fruit& Veg market on most days and a Breadvan that arrives every morning. There are also 4 highly acclaimed Restaurants and a spectacular Windmill-Bar.

Local Information: The village of Azoia is on the Atlantic side of the fabled Sintra hills, about 1 mile from Cabo de Roca, Europe's most western point. There are a number of excellent restaurants famous for their seafood, several bars and cafes and two basic general stores. Local produce is sold several times a week and there are busy market stalls at weekends. There is also a little supermarket 3 miles away. The Sintra hills have an abundance of Castles. Monasteries and Manor Houses to explore, and the wonderful walks have historic surprises around every corner.

Entertainment and Sports: There is a twice monthly Sunday Market in sintra. A nearby Restaurant where the famous Fado is sung. One of Europe's best Wind-surfing beach is 3 miles away. tennis facilities are for hire in the village. A 20 minute drive will take you to the Gambling Casino in Estoril. The Estoril, the Penha Long and another four Golf Courses are within a 40 minute drive. Horse Riding is available in several places.
