Local information:
The village has a supermarket, a baker, a butcher a few good restaurants and a couple of bars. At Guincho beach, only a couple of minutes away, are several cafes, one of which does good evening animation. All the main fish and seafood restaurants are along the cost road, only a few minutes away. One of the best located bars of the area, is also a few minutes away.
Entertainment:
Cascais, once a fishing village, has now become a bustling town with a wide choice of restaurants, bars, clubs and shops. There is still a small fishing port as well as a newly built marina.
Estoril, next to Cascais, is famous for its Formula 1 racing track and its Casino. Sintra has a wide range of cultural and historical interests and Lisbon, only half an hour away, will offer you all the joys of a European Capital.
One of the local attractions is the regular markets displayed in the area. In the Summer, you will be able to enjoy a wide range of Music, Dance and Handicraft Festivals.
Sports:
Many sports can be enjoyed. Walking, surfing, horseback riding, rock-climbing, tennis, golfing, mountain biking and much more!...
We can organise for our guests special walks of discovery of the 'Sintra-Cascais Natural Park', specific cultural tours in the Lison and Sintra area, surfing courses (where you are assured to stand on the surf board on you first lesson!) etc.
