Newly renovated, self-catering apartment on one floor of a house, on the coast, with garden and pool. 30 minutes from airport in an area offering beaches, mountains, culture, shopping, water sports, golf, riding and more. We are about 10-15 minutes walk from the beach and town in a quiet residential area with no high rise apartments. Please note that two persons (mother and daughter of 11 years) live on top part of the house most of the year. Guest garden flat is totally separate and has a private entrance also. The garden and pool are also for exclusive use of guests. Benefit of assistance when possible. Cascais is located just 25 km west of Lisbon (25 mins from Airport)along a spectacular coast which begins at the Tagus estuary and takes you to the westernmost point of Europe - Cabo da Roca.

If you wish to book for MID-WEEK IN SUMMER then we can negotiate a rate based upon availability, as we could lose several days of bookings to meet a weekend changeover. | Notes: | We now offer free broadband Internet access in sitting room with Ethernet plug-in. Also digital satellite television on astra with free channel access only. A DVD & VHS player is also provided, with rentals just a few minutes away (films in original languages). We have a swing; rope; and slide...for children only! This is in the fenced off garden/pool area (for safety). Babysitting can be arranged at the house (so you can take a well-earned night out on the town!). There is a sommier/pull out bed so that you can sleep one extra person. This would have to be placed in the sitting room, as there is no space in bedrooms. By nature of its construction, the area is cool in summer, warm in winter. Plenty of light, environment is also clean and non-allergic. No smoking please! Apartment includes all modern conveniences for self-catering, so you need bring nothing except yourselves!. Garden features luxury pebble pool (9 metres diagonal) with deck to work on your tan. Further deck up stairs (fenced) with awning, sun chairs, barbecue & large tables to feast in sunshine or for candlelit dinners (electric lights also)! Cascais is walking distance (10-15 mins on foot), Estoril 5 minutes by car. Coastal train ride to Lisbon is 35 minutes (shopping & culture), Sintra mountains (hikes and castles) 20 minutes, Guincho beach (Surfers Paradise), 15 minutes. Good night life can be found locally or in Lisbon. We have a spectacular house by the sea on Vancouver island in British Columbia,Canada! Enquire here if interested.
Golf Details: There are 5 golf courses locally, all within 2-5 miles. 1. Estoril Golf -designer-Mckenzie Ross- 2 courses- 18 hole, 69 Par, 5238m, Championship course. 2. Golf Estoril-Sol - designers are John Harris / Ron Fream - 9 hole, Par 31, 1749M Beautiful. 3. Penha Longa is a two course location - main course 18 hole is par 72 and 6228 metres in length. Designer R.Trent Jones II. Championship course - spectacular. 4. Quinta Da Marinha is par 71 - 6014 m - Championship course - Atlantic views.Designer R.T. Jones. 5. Quinta Da Beloura - designer- William Roquemore, 18 holes, 5817m, Par 73, 6 lakes- Championship. Passports are available from Estoril Tourist office for all courses.
