This beautiful villa is located in Galamares, 4 Km from Sintra, UNESCO World heritage site and a 5min drive to various unspoiled beaches. It is in a very quiet area and offers lots of sunlight since its facing south. The private swimming pool and the 60m2 living room enjoy a splendid clear view over the Sintra mountain and Monserrate palace which is lighted up in the evenings. It has 1000 m2 of a great cared garden with a tall palm tree, pine trees, flowers and grass areas. It has a relaxing veranda over the pool and an outdoor covered lounge area with sofas in front of the BBQ area. It has satellite TV (80 channels), DVD, stereo, wireless Internet and a permanent table tennis. Within a 5 minute walk are 5 excellent restaurants, golf driving range, start of various mountain trails, 100 year old tram line, bus stop, bakery, butcher, grocery store. Sintra with its many sites is only 4 km away. Ten excellent golf courses are within a 10-30 min drive.

Surfing and swimming

There are various surfing and bodyboard schools oriented for teenagers and groups at Praia Grande. At Praia Grande and Praia da Maças there are two giant sea water pool with all facilities.

Additional sights

1 km - Monserrate palace is in full view from the house. Built by an English trader it has a wonderful botanical garden. 3 km -Capuchos Convent, 500 years old and perched on a hill, with midget size dining room, sleeping rooms and chapel much of it sculpted from the rocks. 9 km - Cabo da Roca, continental Europe's most western point with 200m cliffs. 9 km - Azenhas do Mar, a wonderful village perched on the cliffs over the sea.
