An excellent holiday. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped and the quiet location and sea views are fantastic and in walking distance of good restaurants and local shops too. We hired a car but couldn't resist trying the local transport, particularly as the bus stop was within yards of the accommodation. For anyone who doesn't want to drive this is an excellent location as the express bus to Funchal takes 15 minutes and you can get right around the island from there. I highly recommend this apartment.

Too good to wake up and enjoy a lovely ocean view

I stayed in this lovely apartment with my partner and we simply loved it.
The apartment was very clean when we got there and that was the most important for us.
Car rental is definitely recommended, and the owner even let us used her garage!! This turned out to be very handy!!
However, the bus stops right below the apartment entrance and takes you to the capital city in short minutes.
Very nice restaurants and mini-markets in the surroundings.
We'd recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a clean, quite, breath-taking view apartment.
We will come back!!

Everything you could wish for an awesome vacation. All was clean and tidy. We had a small trouble with TV but really we didn't need it. Nature was amzing. All you have to do there is to rent a car and don't stay home.

Lovely apartment with everything you need for a good holiday. The property was well maintained, very clean and did not have any aeroplane noise, although it is so close to the airport. Canico de Baixa is a friendly village with a small beach suitable for children and adults. We had a great time there and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet and convenient location.
