Caniço. Funchal, in direction of the East, while passing successively by places of great tourist interest: Garajau, Caniço, Gaula, Santa Cruz, Agua de Pena, Machico and Caniçcal. And for the result of so famous Sao Lourenço. Caniço, merry the centre of the tourist complexes and the most beautiful residences built in Madeira, where the flowers abound in innumerable particular gardens. Caniço is at the present time one of the most developed parishes commune of Santa Cruz, if developed with the economic plan that it passed to the row of city. Caniço has also today the second hotel locality of the Madeira. On Bridged C Garajau, there is a sublime statue of Sagrado Coraçao of Jesus. Inaugurated on October 30, 1927, the statue d1927, the stone statue was outlined by French sculptor SERRAZ. Not far the most famous beach from the island 'Reis Magos'.
