Notes to the rental rates

• SPECIAL OFFER for September and October - September bookings at the October price - October bookings at the November price. Included in the above rentals is the cost of transporting you and your party from the airport to the house(a 25/30 minute taxi ride). Also included is a personal visit by our housekeeper within a very short time of your arrival to help settle you in plus a welcome pack is left for you(you can have a cup of tea and biscuit immediately !).
  The above prices allow up to four people to occupy the house. However, the house will sleep up to six people comfortably. Please add £75 per person per week for extra people.
  For TWO PEOPLE only we can offer a 10% discount off the above prices.
  
• There is a 30% booking deposit with the balance and damage/cleaning deposit payable 6 weeks before the start of the stay. Bookings within the six week period are to be paid in full. Payment can be made in Sterling or in Euros or by debit or credit card. You are strongly advised to take out Holiday Cancellation Insurance. Should you wish to cancel after you have paid the full amount we reserve the right to retain the money until such time as we have managed to relet the property. An admin fee of £25 will be retained in the event that we are able to return some or all of the monies paid to us. Should you wish to cancel after you have paid only the 30% deposit this sum will be returned less £25 admin fee up to 8 weeks before the start date of your intended stay.
  
• There will be returnable damage/cleaning deposit held of £250. As soon as clearance has been given by the housekeeper/caretaker the money will be returned.

Arrival arrangements

As part of the package you will be met by our friendly and helpful taxi driver - Jose Manuel - who speaks good English. He will take you to the house, help you with your luggage and let you in. You will find basic supplies of milk, tea and bread, etc, left for you in the house where you will also find a helpful folder which will give you a lot of information and help you make the most of your visit. His telephone number is 00351 91 788 3144. He would also be available to take you on full or half day trips anywhere around the island. He has a six seater taxi - up to 4 people costs €105 per day(€60 for a half day)5 or 6 people €135 per day(€75 for a half day). Golfing on Madeira and Porto Santo

There are three courses to choose from - two on the Island of Madeira and one on the Island of Porto Santo. On Madeira itself the Palheiro Golf Course is an 18 hole course and is the most recently constructed and has wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and of Funchal itself. We have made special arrangements for any of our clients interested in playing on this course. The normal green fee is reduced by 20% for our guests resulting in a daily cost of €73.50 Clients who are interested in taking up this this special rate offer should contact us.
