VILLA JARDIM is a modern Madeiran house, newly built Swiss cottage style. The house is very comfortable, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open plan living area and kitchen. Each bedroom opens out on to the veranda with wonderful sea views. Sitting on a hillside just below the village of Loreto you have a fantastic uninterrupted view of the sea and surrounding mountains

Villa Jardim is located in a small village of Loreto in Arco da Calheta. The Calheta area has in recent years opened up to tourism due to the new network of tunnels and motorways, also the new and only sandy beach 4 minutes away from the house. Close to the village you have the start of many popular levada walks. The Arco da Calheta (Arc of Calheta) is like a large amphitheater of mountain in a curve sweeping down to the sea. The Miradouro (viewpoint) a few minutes above the village by car is a favourite launch pad for hang gliders and para gliders soaring around on hot air currents.

About Villa Jardim: The house has been built in such a way as to take full advantage of the location in relation to sea views and sun from morning to evening. You may eat out in the garden under the parasol or in the open plan dining room with sliding windows, satellite TV, sky news, a fully fitted kitchen, well equipped for those who like to prepare the wide variety of local produce. We have a downstairs WC, upstairs two nice bedrooms opening out onto a lovely balcony with wonderful sea views. Also upstairs the main bathroom with shower and jacuzzi.

Ein sehr modernes und sauberes Ferienhaus mit gut ausgestatter Küche, besonders hat uns die Barbecuearea gefallen wo wir beim Grillen den schönen Blick und Sonnenuntergang geniessen konnten.
Das kleine Willkommenspäckchen bei Ankunft fanden wir eine nette Geste, und die Vermieter waren sehr hilfsbereit.
Wir haben bisher den Urlaub immer in Hotels verbracht, fanden dieses Ferienhaus jedoch als gute Alternative weil man für denselben Preis ein eigenes Haus hat in sehr ruhiger Umgebung, jedoch gibt es in der Nähe keine öffentlichen Transportmitel.
Wir haben das Haus an Freunde empfohlen welche im Herbst dorthin fahren.

-Wunderschöne Aussicht
-Viele tote Fliegen in der Lampenabdeckung in Küche...
-Ruhig, erholsam
-Im WC Lampe: Draht mit Glühbirne...
-Sehr netter Vermieter
-Das eine Schlafzimmer: Zwei Betten, fertig...
-Nach einer Woche wird "geputzt": Aber dafür steht nichts mehr dort wie vorher...und die Waschmaschine muss man selber ausräumen...
-Badewannendüse (vor allem die erste) sehr schmutzig
Owner's Response: Fliegen wurden enfernt, WC-Lampe eingebaut :)
Wäscheservice ist bei Ferienhäusern in der Regel nicht inklusive.
