This luxurious, sunny villa with 2 pools contains superbly equipped and tremendously comfortable accommodation for up to 11 guests + child in 2 self-contained units. Both have spacious lounge/diner/kitchen areas with huge French windows giving outside access and wonderful views over Funchal to the ocean. The main villa has 3 large bedrooms (1 downstairs, 2 upstairs with balcony), 2 bathrooms (1 on each floor) and a TV room with sofa bed. The annex (also on 2 floors) has 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms (1 on each floor). Extensive terraces surround the property housing a heated outdoor jet-stream pool, shower room + WC, BBQ area, dining area and plenty of loungers with/without shade - ideal for indoor/outdoor living. There is also an indoor heated exercise pool, gym and table tennis. Ideal for couples, families and those with limited mobility. A lift and staircase give access from the garage at street level.     Monday-Monday bookings normally accepted but please ask if you wish other arrival/departure days. Rates Include cleaning, bed linen, full range of towels, the use of a sofa bed in the TV room and/or a cot & baby chair if required.
    EXTRA CHARGE applies and is recommended for additional heating to ensure the water temperature of the outdoor pool is maintained at 22ºC in the cooler months. This costs €100 per week from Oct - March and €75 per week for Apr, May and Sept. No pool heating required during June, July or Aug. The outdoor pool heating needs to be pre-booked and it payable locally.

If a booking is made within 6 weeks of arrival, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Notes: A private elevator and a staircase give access to both units separately, from street level and the garage. The main villa has an electrically operated armchair in the lounge which can assist a person to become upright. The TV room contains a Plasma screen + DVD player, broadband internet access and quality sofa bed. Dining tables: main villa seats 4 in lounge + 8 in large entrance hall with piano! Annex seats 4. Outside tables can seat 12 in total. The two kitchens have plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware including egg cups, mugs, good quality cooking utensils and an electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, orange juicer and food mixer. Cleaning and a linen change is carried twice weekly. The inside and outside pools are heated to a minimum temp of 24ºC and 20º C respectively. On the terrace is a pool WC/changing/shower room, BBQ area, table tennis area, sun loungers, umbrella and occasional tables & chairs. A baby cot, chair & safety gate are available. Superb Villa

We spent two weeks at this villa in June of this year (2009) and were very disappointed when the holiday came to an end. The villa exceeded expectations; everything you need is provided for and more. The beds are very comfortable! The outside pool is fantastic, as is all the outside living space. BBQ area is very good. We were lucky enough to be there in June when Funchal has the firework displays from different countries and the villa certainly has ringside seats for this! We usually eat out every night whilst on holiday, but the villa was so comfortable and relaxing we actually cooked in most nights - most unusual for us! Just goes to show how much we enjoyed our surroundings. Would certainly recommend the villa to anyone and everyone! Judith and Linda were extremely helpful and provided everything that we asked for.
