Praia D’EL Rey enjoys an enviable and peaceful location near the picturesque medieval town of Obidos and is a comfortable one hours drive from Lisbon on the new A8 Motorway. The resort nestles within a lush estate abundant in pinewoods and undulating sand dunes, flanked on one side by a glorious 2 mile long sandy beach washed by the breathtaking Atlantic rollers. Just a five minute drive away, along a quiet coastal route, is the famous Obidos Lagoon, one of the great natural wonders of Portugal. The Apartment is on the top floor, with easy access. It is situated within easy reach of the facilities offered by the resort, which include Golf ,Tennis, beach and the Marriott Hotel

The town of Obidos is only a ten minute drive, it is considered to be one of the jewels of Portugal's national heritage, its outstanding architectural beauty is reflected in the winding narrow streets and elegant whitewashed buildings. In the opposite direction, and only fifteen minutes away is Peniche which is a typical Portuguese fishing town with great historical interest.

Two further guests could be accommodated with the bed settee which is in the lounge, we would not recommend this arrangement for all our guests, however if you all get on well it works. We have recently installed a cot and feeding chairfor babies

Praia-del-Rey is arguably one of the most stunning golf courses in Europe, it's set among extensive pine forests and undulating dunes, with spectacular views over the Atlantic and the Berlenga Islands. It has been voted Portugal's number 1, Europe's number 13th and Worlds 80th best golf course. It caters for all golfers a real test for the low handicapper, however it has several short holes which the higher handicapper can enjoy. There is a wide choice of tees which gives everyone a good chance to enjoy their golf. Golf is not the only activity offered at Praia-del-Rey. There are 7 all weather Tennis courts, horse and bike riding are also available
