Casa Pequena is in the small hill village of Bucado at the head of its own side valley in the beautiful foothills of Sierra D'Acor in Central Portugal ten minutes drive from the regional town of Arganil. The area's river valleys, ancient terracing, rolling countryside and charming villages, are the real Portugal.

This room has a clothes and shoe rail and a drawer, both on wheels, so that they can be slid out of the room if both single beds are required. Car parking on premises. In the village is a quiet village bar with its viewpoint terrace and providing light meals with and main meals available on request sourced from fresh, local and home-grown produce.

This can be used as a sleeping area and or an indoor daytime seating area if required during any very hot spells. Patio furniture, BBQ and two sun beds supplied.

Outdoor swimming pool in beautiful location 25 minutes drive away. Three popular River Beaches 15 - 30 minutes drive away with full facilities Panoramic drives. Nearby walks and drives to the many charming villages nearby. Wooded walks within easy walking distance of the house.

Town and Village Facilities

Bucado's quiet village bar/cafe is a short walk away. Ethnic meals on request using local specialities and produce. The regional centre of Arganil has shops, supermarkets, banks, cafes, and restaurants with its large, thriving, local market every Thursday.
