Herdade das Coutadas is a peaceful charming farm which lies withing 30 acres of woodland, surrounded by beautiful cork oaks. 8 kms far from the town of Portalegre close to São Mamede Natural Park and the border with Spain. It is one of the most beautiful and unspoiled places of Portugal with lots of medieval castles and ancient remains to visit. The UNESCO heritage village of Marvão, just next to the golf course, nearby, is a high spot of sightseeing.
