MONTE BRANCO consists of four houses set around a garden full of palmtrees and flowers bordering the lawn, an oasis of green amongst the summer dryness, when a dip in the pool is necessary to cool off. The spring displays the most spectacular countryside full of colour and wild flowers. A nature lover and birdwatchers paradise. Each house has a big open fireplace, making winter breaks possible...a great place to get a group of friends of family together (sleeps up to 26 people) to spend Christmas or New Year, or just beat the the 'winter blues'. The pool area has a covered barbecue and dining area, and has wonderful panoramic views to the ancient fortified town of Monsaraz, which is dramatically illuminated at night. The recently restored animal barn The Celeiro provides a large open space (100 m2) with a large covered varandah (50 m2) for guests to get together, sit by the big fireplace in the winter, or to enjoy the shady cool of the open varandah in summer. Notes to the rental rates

• Christmas, New Year, Carnival, Easter - 20% supplement
  Included: sheets, towels (bath not pool), electricity, water, gas. The maid is included once a week for general cleaning, changing sheets and towels. Extra hours by arrangement. Garden and Pool maintenance weekly.
  Separate Laundry Room.
  Casa Antiga can be rented without the Suite Amarelo with 2 bedrooms,/1 bathroom for 830 euros (week)120 euros(night) Sleeps 4/6 or Suite Amarelo separately 1 bedroom/1 bathroom, breakfast maker unit for 455 euros(week)65 euros(night) sleeps 2.

THE BARN/CELEIRO The recently restored barn’s have been converted to a big open-space (100 m2) and covered terrace (50m2) Ideal for meetings, workshops or just for guests to get together. There are 2 WC's and cloakroom, a bar-kitchen, and a big cosy sit-in fireplace. Whatever your specialty is - yoga, painting, music...bring your own group and create your own workshop

CASA ANTIGA/SUITE AMARELA...the ancient house dating back 300 years with its old domed ceilings, sit in fireplace, and old bread oven (still working) is furnished in simple rustic farmhouse style, fully equipped kitchen with old slate counter tops. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living/dining room, kitchen....(sleeps 6/8)...(Can be rented without Ste.Amarela - 2 bedrooms only for 120 Eu.p.n./830 Eu. p.w.
