Luxury self-catering 3 bedroom apartment with large swimming pool set in the stunning surroundings of the spectacular Praia d'El Rey, European Golf and Beach Resort of the year 2007. Contemporary furnishings throughout. Spacious master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, two twin bedded bedrooms, one with Cable TV and DVD, and another large bathroom. All beds are of very high quality and have duvets. Large lounge with fireplace, Cable TV, DVD, Stereo installation, CD player and Ipod docking station. A fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher, washing machine/dryer). Large private balcony overlooking the communal swimming pool and forests. About 15 minutes walk from one of Europe's most beautiful beaches and 5 minutes form the golf course. Close to the excellent club restaurant and the two restaurants offered by the Marriot Hotel.

Praia d'El Rey, European Golf and Beach Resort of the year 2007, enjoys a prime beach-front location in the heart of the Silver Coast and is a one hour drive from the airport and international shopping of Lisbon. Praia d’El Rey is located near the medieval walled town of Obidos not only interesting for the history and the views from the castle walls, but also enjoyable for the shopping in the narrow cobbled streets. There are also some very good restaurants within the walls of the city. Praia d’El Rey is also located close to the picturesque fishing village of Peniche. It has a 16th century fortress and is known for its seafood restaurants, which are excellent and inexpensive. During the summer day trips to the Berlenga Islands (National Park) can be taken. The closest airport is Lisbon and is serviced by flights with British Airways, Monarch, Easyjet and TAP. Booking as early as possible will enable you to get some very reasonable rates. Cars can be hired at the airport.

Golf: Praia d’El Rey opened in June 1997 and is ranked as one of the finest layouts in Europe. Set in extensive grounds of pine forest and undulating dunes with spectacular views over the Atlantic and the Berlenga Islands beyond this golf course will provide an unforgettable experience. The 18 hole par 72 championship seaside links course is visually stunning and tremendously exiting to play. Because of the endless variations of the terrain the golf course offers so much variety. The front nine has a parkland feel to it as it runs in and out of the pine trees, whilst the back nine offers some of the best links golf in mainland Europe. The signature holes 13, 14, and 15 run along the Atlantic Ocean, providing fantastic views of the sea, dunes and back towards the pine forest. Course architect Cabell Robinson has designed the course to be the complete golfing challenge with bold deep bunkers, undulating greens, and natural sand border areas contrasting sharply with the lush green fairways. No wonder Praia d'El Rey has been awarded European Golf Resort of the Year 2007!

Lovely spacious apartment, very well equipped, in a lovely safe and clean complex. The agent Ruthe was so helpful on our arrival and during our week there. A perfect location for a golf holiday, superb golf course and other courses close by. I would recommend this apartment to anybody.
