We have just completed furnishing our luxury 3 bed, 3 bath holiday home, situated within the landscaped gardens of the prestigious 'Vila dos Principes' within the beautiful five star Golf and Beach resort at Praia D'el Rey. Within a few steps from the living room french doors we share a kiddies and large heated pool (April - Oct). It is a 5 minute walk through the security gates to the driving range and Golf Club good for breakfast or a casual lunch, for dinner the on-site five star Marriott Hotel has a number of options, or you could BBQ at home while the children play in the gardens. For Golfers the Practice area and 1st tee are a 5 minute walk and there is a Tennis Academy with 7 courts as you enter the resort. During the summer months the Hotel has a kids club essential if Mum is to enjoy the Marriotts Atlantic Spa Treatments! The real selling point is the spectacular beach, sand goes on forever. The house is furnished and equipped as you would expect in a five star resort.

One hour drive north from Lisbon airport and two hour drive south from Porto airport. Our new luxury town house is situated within the gates of Vila dos Pricipes designed to have a village feel with cobbled streets and individually painted houses. Our little community sits within the larger 5 star hotel resort of Praia del Rey Golf and Beach Resort, situated along the spectacular beaches of Western Portugal's Silver coast. The resort lies between the fishing town of Peniche, the walled medieval town of Obidos and the lively market town of Caldas da Rainha. For shopping head to Sintra or Lisbon, for water sports its Obidos Lagoon (5 minutes away) and for fishing trips and boat trips head to Peniche harbour where you can escape to the nature reserve on the Berlenga Islands.

Price includes welcome food pack: (for stays of one week or more) all you would need for brunch / light lunch including wine. The house will be cleaned and prepared for your arrival. Maid service will call to you once during each week of your stay. Extra cleaning and / or linen changes during your stay are available by prior arrangement at the time of booking. Internet access is available though the hotel where they charge approx €10 for 2 hours.

Notes: Our house is within a five star resort, guests have the use of all the hotel facilities (small fees may apply) the concierge can help with directions, restaurants, car hire,kids club etc. Resident services office is open office hours, guests can request extra maid service, cots, high chairs etc (extra fee). There is a supermarket on site. There are 2 sun loungers on the patio and sun loungers around the pool area which are free for guests. An information pack will be provided which contains essential info on the house, restaurants, places to visit etc. The golf club house is a 5 minute stroll away, has two excellent options for dining, formal or casual, children are welcome. They also do a take away menu and ice cream bar! The hotel offers 4 dining options, pool side, hotel lobby/bar menu, excellent buffet every night and formal dining in exclusive 'romy restaurant' A pre-dinner cocktail from the terrace bar, watching the sun set on the Atlantic a perfect way to end each day

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful villa with us, it was everyting we expected and more. We had a wonderful holiday, already we are talking about returning!
we enjoyed the convience of staying in our own self catering villa while at the same time availing of the services of a five star resort.
