Beautiful located villa at the coast of Portugal, in the picturesque village Zambujeira do Mar, with a spectacular view over the Atlantic Ocean. This village it's still an unspoilt fishing place at the south coast of Alentejo,within the protected area of the 'Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejo e Costa Vicentina'. The Villa Vivenda Joao de Deus lies on top of a cliff and is very large with 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 4 terraces on 3 different floors. It has a huge kitchen and living room with open fire. Outside you have also a barbeque + terrace. So extremely suitable for 1 or 2 families. It's 2 minutes walking distance from the centre, where you find nice restaurants with great fishfood and bars also with their panoramic views on the ocean. Their are also numerous shops and supermarkets for the daily needs. Three beautiful beaches and a rock pool are on walking distance. During summer and because of its location on the top of the cliffs, the Atlantic breeze always brings cooling wind.

Notes to the rental rates

• 25% non-refundable deposit required with confirmation of the booking. Balance to be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the starting date. Weekends and short stays also available off season. Contact owners for details. A refundable deposit against breakages and damages will be charged at 450 euro per booking. Payments to be made by bank transfer.
  
• There is an additional 100 euro final check out cleaning fee per booking, payable with the rental balance.
  The airport of Lisbon is 125 miles away(2 1/2 hours drive) and Faro Airport is 80 miles away (1 1/2 hours drive).

'Parque de Mina' is a deactivated ore mine. The whole year through one can visit the mine : in the summer from 10.00h till 19.00h and during the winter from 10.00h till 17.00h. You can find here : an ancestral furnished home (XVIIIcentury), farm poultry, pigeons, ducks, geese, chickens etc..., distillery of berries - recreation and production of wood coal - recreation. One hour drive from the villa and you will find the lovely town Monchique. It lies in the most beautiful part of the Algarve, the Monchique mountains. A very picturesque town, with beautiful houses, also in the town here is the watermill. It's definitely worth to visit. Take a walk round the town and visit Parish church. There is also a well marked, interesting walk around the town, laid out by the local council. Nearby Monchique you will find the little village Caldas, the famous spa about 1 km down the road to Portimao, where you can enjoy massages and any treatment. Just enjoy!!!

Situated on the heights above the town of Aljezur, one can find the ruins of the castle of Aljezur, originally constructed by the Moors, and which dominated the region of Aljezur until the destruction of 1755. The wall area comprised two towers, one round and one square, and included a covered cistern with a vaulted roof. Despite the fact that the castle is now in ruins it is an important feature of this town taken from the Moors in 1250.
