A newly constructed villa in its own spacious grounds with a large swimming pool and adjacent tennis court. There are 2 family suites with sofa beds and a King size bed in each, and a further 5 double bedrooms all with en-suite facilities. The entire villa has thermostatically controlled under floor heating for those cooler evenings at the beginning and end of the year. A very large lounge and dining area leads to a modern well fitted kitchen. There is a very comfortable TV room with satellite TV and DVD player. Between the 2 wings of the villa is a tiled piazza area with tables and chairs, leading to the pool and surrounding patio area. A lawn to one side and extensive grounds surround the villa, leading to a cork oak valley.

A stunning modern 7 bed villa, en-suite bathrooms in every room, Situated in a beautiful unspoilt rural location, the villa is on its own large site with a wooded valley below, planted with cork oaks, wild flowers and eucalyptus, which is available to explore. The site is on the edge of ‘The Costa Vincentina National Park’ which is a protected area. The beaches are only 10 kilometers to the west, where there are many beautiful sandy coves and long stretches of stunning coastline. The local town of Odemira is only 3 kilometres away, and has many local cafes, restaurants and a range of shops. Several large supermarkets are within 5 minutes of the property. The area surrounding the Quinta is free of any high rise developments or garish tourist developments. Within 30 minutes you can be driving into the Monchique mountains or in any one of several historic towns, some of which have not changed for many years.

    We also accept payment in sterling, £250. Bookings can be paid for in Euros directly to our Portuguese bank account, details on request. All monies must be received 30 days before holiday commences.

My extended family stayed at this large, well appointed villa for a week this year. Everything described on the website was accurate, the villa was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Directions provided by the owner were very precise, it is a long track after the main road, about a mile, just keep going it's worth it!
The area is very beautiful and as yet unspoilt, beaches nearby are deserted and very dramatic. A short car ride takes you into the hills surrounding the villa to see a Portugal unchanged in recent years.
A car is essential as the nearest shops are about 2 miles, only 5 minutes in the car but I would not fancy the walk!
Lovely local restaurants, the owners are able to recommend several. O Bernardos and O Tarro were excellent.
We used the tennis court frequently, first class, swimming pool was a bit cold but it was early in the season, crystal clear water.
Overall a very enjoyable stay in a chilled out atmosphere, very tranquil and situated in a stunning area, I will defenitely be going back.
Recommended for:  People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway, Families with Young Children, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing
Owner's Response: If you are looking for a holiday that is totally relaxed and in an area of outstanding natural beauty, look no further!
The villa is ideal for large family groups or friends, sleeping 14 in comfort and privacy. The valley with cork trees and abundant bird life makes for a relaxed and interesting alternative to the beaches.

We were a big group, with children, and had a greta time.

The house is very big and has all the funcionalities you may need.
