Fantastic villa with private swimming pool in Óbidos
Located in a small hamlet in a rural area on a hillside, this villa benefits from marvellous countryside views. This wonderful recent all ground floor villa has a comfortable living room, a dining area, french windows to the terrace. The modern kitchen is well equiped, and there are three bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room and a further bathroom. Outside the garden has pretty flowers beds, a private swimming pool and a built-in barbecue, perfect for a alfresco dining. All this in a complete privacy. This villa is close to historic medieval walled town of Óbidos, one of the most cherished Portuguese tourist location, with its restaurants, bars, shops and Sunday antique fair. The dune golf course of Praia Del Rey, superb beaches and the Óbidos lagoon with very calm waters are a few minutes from the villa.

Situated in Lisbon Coast, Óbidos is considered to be one of the jewels of Portugal's national heritage. It's outstanding architectural beauty is reflected as much in the winding narrow streets, and elegant white washed buildings and balconies decorated with flowers as in the ancient churches and the magnificent Moorish castle whose high protective walls encircle the town. Óbidos lagoon is one of the largest salt water lagoons with a magnificent sand bar situated between it and the sea, supporting a great variety of flora and fauna. The protected beach and dunes make it a perfect place for water sports. The dune golf course of Praia D'el Rey was voted the best in Portugal by Golf World Magazine (15 km from the villa). The historic towns of Alcobaça, Batalha and Mafra are well worth visiting as well São Martinho do Porto with it beautiful bay.
