This comfortable south facing holiday apartment is part of a grade 'A' listed Georgian townhouse. Ideal self-catering accommodation, it has been awarded 4 Stars by the Tourist Board. To the front the apartment is approached by a small flight of steps down to a sunny private courtyard which catches the early morning sun - a perfect spot for coffee. The spacious accommodation comprises one enormous bedroom with a king sized bed and plenty of space for a cot/child's bed. There is a second bedroom with 3 single beds. The large sitting room incorporates an attractive dining alcove with seating for six and also has a small double sofa bed. The bathroom is fitted with a bath with shower incorporated. The kitchen gives those seeking a self-catering apartment good facilities for preparing a meal. There is a small table for informal dining. A laundry room off the kitchen has a washing machine and tumble drier. Visitors are welcome to use the garden to the rear of the apartment.

Regent Terrace is a quiet Georgian cobbled street skirting Calton Hill with its fabulous panoramic views. Built in the 1820's and designed by William Playfair it is part of Edinburgh's World Heritage Site and is close to both the old town and the rest of the Georgian New Town. A short stroll into Princes Street and George Street takes one to the prime shopping area. Alternatively visit the Royal Mile with its ancient closes and more specialised boutiques. Almost all tourist attractions can be reached on foot but alternatively public transport is close at hand. For the energetic a brisk walk up Arthur's Seat is an option or explore on cycle paths. Edinburgh has enough to offer to keep visitors entertained but also makes a good base for exploring more of Scotland. Day trips by train or coach are possible to many of Scotland's well known towns and cities and those with a car will find it easy to explore the Borders, East Lothian, Fife and the Central Belt.

Notes: The apartment sleeps a maximum of 6 adults in comfort depending on the makeup of the party. There is a small double sofa bed in the sitting room and we are also able to provide a cot or fold up bed for a child together with the appropriate linen. Parking is free in Regent Terrace in the evenings and at weekends and is metered for the rest of the time at £1 per hour. Alternatively there is free parking about 7 minutes walk away. To the rear of the property there is an attractive terraced garden, shared with the owners, to which guests have direct access. There is a small barbeque and seating is provided - a perfect spot to relax! We are able to provide lockable storage for bicycles.
