Bathroom with shower and bath. All linen and towels provided. 10 mins walk from Edinburgh city, where you will find an array of shops. Even closer is Stylish George Street with plentiful designer shops including Harvey Nicholls Dept store at St Andrew's square. The bus stop just outside to take you to all parts of Edinburgh and surrounding area. apartment is let for min 3 nights stays in low season and min 7 nights in high season and special events weeks. Also very close to Royal Botanical gardens - Keys are picked up from Inverleith Hotel a short 5 mins walk around the corner - this is one of the first streets in Edinburgh with ALL DAY PARKING (9 hours) at a daily cost of £4.30. Very good variety of local restaurants within 50 yds of apartment. Apartment is let on a self-catering non-serviced basis.

Transport: Edinburgh has an excellent transport system, why not leave the car at home. Shuttle bus from the Edinburgh airport Railway with easy access to the rest of the UK St Andrew sq bus station to rest of UK Frequent buses - every 10 mins on your doorstep - which will take you to Princes st in 5 mins - also up to the Old town directly - Here you will find Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile down to Holyrood palace. There is also a bus closeby which will take you to the Port of Leith (fantastic fish restaurants) All day saver bus tickets with unlimited travel from early in the morning up until 11.30pm. There are also some night buses right through the night. (no 8 which comes close to the apt) Edinburgh Black cab taxi's and private hire are readily available

Internet access: There is internet access in a small internet port/cafe just opposite the apartment (inexpensive) The apt is only 5 mins away - walking from a wifi hot spot and there are many cafes with outdoor seating (yes even in Scotland) where you can wile away your time watching the local colour and accessing you lap top. Free Wifi also available within the apt - if you have your own laptop.

Tours: Tours can be booked at the Inverleith Hotel to, many scenic areas of Scotland. Loch Lomand and the beautiful West Coast Fishing villages of the East Coast and St Andrews Rosslyn Chapel (Davinci Code fame) Loch Ness and the Highlands We can also arrange for you to be picked up in the morning from the apt. We can also arrange for the open top bus - city tours - pick up from Botanic Gardens close by then first stop Royal Yacht Brittania then on to the Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace and Edinburgh Castle - full circle tour allowing you to be dropped of back at the Brandon apt... prices from £10.... Just ask at reception of the Inverleith Hotel when picking up keys.

Ski: Nearby Hillend ski slope (dry) + for winter skiing - Glenshee and the Lecht...approx 3/4 hour drive.

Golf: Golf Nearby at Silverknowes + train to St Andrew - home of Golf - 1 hour regularly from Waverly station.

Other Activities: galleries, museums, shopping, nightlife.

Greatly enjoyed this exceptional Apt

Six members of our family (including four of our children who are 11-20) stayed for three nights in the self-catering apartment the Inverleith owns on Brandon Street in Edinburgh (a few blocks from the hotel). We greatly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is the middle floor of a beautiful building. It's furnished very attractively and comfortably. There was plenty of room for all of us. We were all able to sit at the table and eat meals. The apartment has two bedrooms, one with a double bed (seemed more like a queen) and the other with a double bed and a single bed. There was a futon in the living/dining room and one of the leather couches also opened up to a bed. The duvets were very cozy, lots of pillows and wonderful thick, large towels. There is a clothes washer in the apartment and racks to dry clothes which was very helpful. A bus stop is literally right outside the door and there are restaurants, stores, and a nice coffee shop within a block or two. Best of all, Adrienne and Steve were so friendly and welcoming; we had a lot of difficulties with our car rental and Adrienne called the company and advocated for us. I think that's a big reason the problem got resolved - I'm sure they didn't want to lose the business of the hotel. We look forward to visiting Edinburgh again and staying at the Brandon Street apartment.

Inverleith Hotel - Brandon St Apartment

My wife, 3 children and I stayed at the Brandon Street Apartments. It is a great location, with an easy walk into town and good bus availability. The apartment was reasonably priced, well set up, clean and comfortable. We would return.

The apartment was very spacesious, clean, and was so much better than a hotel. The location is perfect for seeing all the local tourist attractions. Everyone should go across the street to the corner and eat at the best Fish and chips Place! And it was nice to come back to a homey atmosphere and just relax, after a long day of site seeing. I would recommend this place to everyone. Hope you enjoy it as much as we Did !!

The apartment by Inverleith Hotel has possibly one of the best sitings in Edinburgh. Downtown buses outside the door, about 20-25 minutes walk to the shopping district. Taxis frequent and cheap. A good grocer and multiple take-aways within 1 block. Tesco 3 blocks. Park with playground around the corner. A great apartment, spacious and comfortable (we slept 7 no problem). TV, WiFi that works. Gas fire taht was disconnected, but bvase board heat working fine (October). Full kitchen, laundry (hang to dry), good sized fridge. Not next to the pub district or hiways, so it's quiet at night. You can leave open the windows for air !! Linens and towels in abundance (yeah !!!).

Caveats: One bath room, so teenagers need a (10 minutes only) warning. No off street parking. Lovely but steep staircase to second floor (not "accessible"). When we stayed, the apartment needed some TLC, but with a good vacuuming and some spot scrubbing, it was fine. Slightly annoying, not off-putting. Heating controls take a little experimenting. Common hallway satircase could use some air freshener.

Overall: Highly recommended. Not perfect, but very good value. Our hotel option would have been 3 times the price for the group we had, and restaurant pricing no bargain in Edinburgh.

Stayed at the Brandon apt recently with group of friends. Really spacious quality accommodation.
Excellent position as did not need a car and could walk in and out of the city centre within 10 mins. Great local restaurants and conveniencies - Would definitely stay there again if visiting Edinburgh.
