The studio has lounging, dining, study and sleeping areas [furnished from Harrods of London] with TV, video and CD. There is a well equipped galley kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave, breakfast bar, fridge/freezer. There is a shower room and laundry.

Excellent apartment-clean, comfortable bed, well laid out, shower in the bathroom with good water pressure. Everything you could need in the kitchen. So close to everything.

Very obliging owner.

I didn't notice any particular smells-just a mild "old building" smell in the stairwell, and not that bad at that. Water pressure in the flat was fine-no problems there. A bit low in the laundry so the washing machine takes a while to fill, but that can't be helped.

Would certainly recommend this flat with the following proviso-the apartment is on the 4th floor, and be aware that you go up half a flight of stairs to access the lift, so maybe not appropriate for some people with disabilities.

An excellent little property in a superb location in the city. The property is in great order with everything that you could possibly need. Excellent communication with the owner if you have any queries. We loved our stay in this property.

Picture was not the building where the property was located
Bad smell on the main floor
Perfect place for which to tour Edinburgh
Parking was non existant
Smells from lower flats were very strong in the rental
Laundry was not working at the time
Very low water pressure
Flat was very comfortable
