This Finnish log chalet is the ideal 'chill out' zone with stunning views, it is Scandinavian in design with open plan living, dining and kitchen. The lounge has a ceramic floor with underfloor heating, there is a comfortable leather corner couch, 32' LCD TV with Freesat and DVD player. The dining area has a log table and there is a well fitted kitchen. The bedroom area has a comfortable double bed with double wardrobe and bedside table. The large sauna suite is tiled, has underfloor heating and has a soapstone sauna stove and stereo making this the ultimate sauna experience. There are double showers in a wet room with seating area and separate WC - complimentary toiletries are supplied. Outside there is a log grill house with gas BBQ, seating and a private outdoor hot tub!

Fearnan is situated on the banks of Loch Tay surrounded by mountains. It is one of the most beautiful areas in Scotland and is ideal for walking, fishing, cycling, water sports of all kinds, horse riding and golfing. Aberfeldy is 9 miles away and is a pleasant market town with a good selection of shops. The area boasts a number of excellent restaurants. There are many golf courses to choose from including a challenging 9 hole course at Kenmore and the very picturesque Taymouth Castle Golf Course. The beach at Kenmore is safe for bathing.

The Perfect Get-Away

The chalet was absolutely beautiful with lots of nice little touches (such as complimentary fresh flowers, wine, and milk), and had stunning views over the hills and water.

The amenities were wonderful ~ nothing nicer than relaxing in the hot tub or revitalizing in the sauna after a day walking in the countryside. There was a BBQ, solar lighting, candles and satellite television included, so everything you could wish for was at hand. The 'attention to detail' was apparent from the moment we stepped through the door and we just couldn't believe how great everything was.

This break was very special to us because it was our first wedding anniversary and also a time for quiet contemplation as my husband, Davie, has advanced lung cancer and this will probably be the last holiday that we have together. We couldn't have picked a nicer place to make some nice memories of our time together.

This really is a little peace of heaven on earth.

Fantastic Relaxing Place.

If you'd like to get right away from everything then this is the place for you.

The Hot Tub and Sauna are just wonderful and are just the thing at the end of a busy day, don't forget the Champagne !!

We will definately be returning here and can't say enough great things about the chalet... go experience it yourselves, it's Fantastic.

Look forward to seeing you again in the near future.

This is our second time in this delightful property and we 'll probably go for the hat trick before long! Shirley and her family are friendly and very accomodating. The chalet is perfect for two - totally relaxing and romantic. Combination of sauna, hot tub and perfect privacy is so rare without spending vast sums or sharing it with strangers.
Great scenery and walks as well as interesting shopping and foodie places in the area.
A genuine stress busting opportunity!

Honeymoon Getaway

The Lodge was as described on the website. The location was just stunning. To be able to sit in the hot tub and look over the mountains and Loch is just a wonderful experience. The layout was as expected. The Lodge was immaculate when we arrived and the Owner had left fresh flowers and a bottle a wine in the fridge. What a personal touch. We had been in the Lodge for 10 minutes when the Owner arrived to explain how to operate the sauna and hot tub. Excellent customer service. Its all the personal touches that made our stay extra special. Beautiful bedlinen, ample cutlery and crockery, underfloor heating, cushions on the sofa, outdoor seating, ornaments to make it homely and general cleanliness. The Lodge is maintained to a very high standard.

We would most definitely recommend the Lodge although we should really keep it our closely guarded secret.

Due to the time of year we visited we found all local attractions to be closed. Although this was the case it didnt detract from the overall holiday experience.

We visited The Kenmore Inn for lunch and the portion sizes were excellent. The Co-op in Aberfeldy has everything that you could possibly need for a break.

We had a truly amazing and chilled out honeymoon at the Lodge and cant wait to go back for out 1st Wedding Anniversary.

A great big thank you to the Owners for their amazing hospitality.

lovely relaxing break

\had a very relaxing week at the cabin, was welcomed by Shirley and Doug with a nice, chilled bottle of wine and a bunch of flowers. The cabin was perfect, warm and homely, couldn't fault a thing. Would recommend for a romantic getaway, the hottub and sauna are fantastic!
