Cottage in an amazing setting for a fair price

We enjoyed the stay in the cottage a lot.The location is great as the sea is right by your doorstep and a beautiful peninsula closeby for short walks. Nonetheless it´s a bit secluded but still close enough to local services like the village shop or gas station. The cottage also has a beautiful small garden with all sorts of flowers. When the weather permits there are garden chairs and a table, for example, to enjoy breakfast out in the garden.
Generally, the Lochcarron area is an ideal springboard for daytrips to Skye, Loch Torridon and other beautiful spots. This was a main factor for us in choosing Lochcarron.
The interior of the cottage preserves the charme of the real cottages. Still it has all necessary amenities. Apart from fridge, microwave, oven, freezer we found the laundry machine along with the tumble dryer very handy (this is shared with the other cottage).
What we were not completely satisfied with (hence 4 instead of 5 stars) was the lack of a shower (bathtub instead) and the water heating system that seemed a bit weak to me.
The landlord/-lady was very helpful and friendly.
Overall I can recommend this cottage as it is at a great location, has good amenities and a fair price.
