The Craig is a substantial detached house in its own grounds, dating from the late 19th century. The ground floor comprises a large entrance hall, sitting room with an open fireplace, dining room, a playroom with a variety of toys and a large kitchen breakfast room. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a table that can sit 10/12 people. There is a double integral garage containing the heating boiler, a drinks fridge, a second freezer, the washing machine and tumble drier. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom, two twin bedrooms and a children's room containing two sets of bunk beds. There are two family bathrooms. Outside there is a large enclosed garden mostly lawn and ideal for ball games.

Invergordon is about 25 miles north of Inverness overlooking the Cromarty Firth and the Black Isle. It is a small town with good local amenities such as a supermarket, a post office, a modern and fully equipped leisure centre, various eating establishments and of course a pub. It is an ideal location for exploring the highlands with easy access to the West Coast and the central hill ranges.

Things to do:: The house has a variety of books and board games. There are TVs and video players in the living room and master bedroom. The living room also has a DVD player and a CD stereo system. The leisure centre is a ten minute walk away and is available for casual users. It has a main swimming pool, a learner pool and a toddler splash area as well as a fully equipped gym and various halls and studios for games and exercise classes.

Other Attractions: : In addition to the sporting activities such as golf, fishing and walking there are many historical places to visit in the area including Dunrobin Castle, Dornoch Cathedral, Beauly Priory, Moniak Castle. You can learn all about whisky making at the many distilleries in the area including Glen Morangie, Glen Ord and slightly further away the Speyside distilleries including Glenfiddich. Dolphin watching trips out into the Moray Firth are organised from nearby Cromarty. Loch Ness is about 30 minutes drive away.

Golf and Fishing: This area is rich in both golf courses and fishing waters. Further details of the best local areas are available on request.

Golf: The Royal Dornoch Golf club is about a twenty minute drive away. Others less well known in the area but open to visitors include The Invergordon Golf club which is a five minute walk from the house and the golf clubs in Alness, Muir or Ord, Strathpeffer, Brora, Tain and on Loch Ness to list but a few.
