Bee's castle is a cosy and comfortable complex of four star apartments that is situated in a beautiful nature far away from the bustle of everyday life. The property is 3 hectares big and surrounded by a beautiful forest. In its lower rooms there is a bee farm, where you can witness how honey and different honey products are produced. Outside you can enjoy walking through the tree park, around two ponds, play on a children’s playground (three sandpit's, two swings, a children playhouse with a toboggan) or with pets (rabbits, birds, fish, sheep). You can also visit two bee houses, one of which is 100 years old and has a museum value. The other is still a home for 30 bee families. There is also a decked BBQ area and a conference room for 40 people. Doors from the apartment open on to a balcony that overlooks the forest and also the two ponds. The facility is situated near Austria (2km) and Hungary(5km) for seeing also other countries. More information on our website.

The Cherry apartment is a luxury apartment for 2 people if they want to spend some beautiful time in a beautiful, romantic landscape. Situated in the Goricko National Park in the North East region (which is famous for its natural habitats and beautiful landscapes) of Slovenia called Prekmurje, you will spend unforgettable holidays, away from everyday troubles. If you still want to visit a town, Murska Sobota is only 20 minutes away. Terme 3000, a huge leisure complex that includes a 18 hole golf course & 22 indoor and outdoor pools of various depths and temperatures is only 25 minutes away. Terme Loipersdorf in Austria is also only 25 minutes away. Various health and beauty treatments are available. There is lots of indoor and outdoor space to relax in. It is open all year round and is good for all ages. There are also some great possibilities for bike trips to the surrounding areas. You can go and see Tromeja, the meeting point of three countries and cultures (SLO, AUT, HUN), Fuks graba (an educational pathway), Serdiski hill, Kugla with a panorama tower (highest hill in Prekmurje). Great place for culinary fans.

The easiest way to get to us: The easiest way to get to us from the UK is to fly into Austrian airport of Graz which is just 65km from the Bess castle. The low cost airlines Ryan Air fly daily from London Stansted (Book early for best prices). Cars can be hired and picked up from the airport. The national airline Adria and Easy Jet fly into the capital of Ljubljana. It is approx. A 2.5 hours drive from the capital. It’s also possible to drive from UK to Prekmurje and would take around 18 hours.

Other Activities: Skiing resorts are just 1 hour away.

Very nice place and very nice, spacious apartments (fully equipped!) ... Perfectly clean and absolutely well maintained! Quiet, rural environment... Extremely friendly and helpful hosts! We really enjoyed it!!!

To Herman, Alex, Andrej and family! Thanks so much for your wonderful hospitality when we stayed with you recently. We loved the location and our little girl really misses the rabbits! I miss the wonderful honey - it was a real pleasure to see the bees busy at their work each day. And it was a privilege to stay in somewhere as abundant with life and natural beauty. You still have the natural treasures that we have lost in the UK. Long may Slovenia continue to be an environmental treasure!

For this, our first visit to Slovenia it was our preference not to stay in the main tourist areas, but somewhere where we could experience the “real Slovenia. We are so glad that we chose this North Eastern area of this Country, and, to choose Bee castle for our accommodation. The area abounds whit walking and cycling routes and is so peaceful and in touch whit nature. The Bee Castle apartment is all that one could wish for, and the hospitality and friendliness of our hosts, the Kisilak family is a truly rare experience. The Bees Castel complex whit its pet donkey, sheep, birds, and lets not forget to mention the bees, was such a delight to come back to at the end of the day.
A great week holiday, and are now sorry to leave. But there will be a next time, and the sooner the better.
