The house is 20 minutes by car from the main town of Murska Sobata, where you can find all the shops you need including a huge hyper market, as well as the local farmers markets that take place. The house is just +-20 minutes by car from the Therme 3000 spa resort where there are indoor and outdoor pools, spas, tube pools for the kids! and a great golf course (Please contact us for their web site address). There are many good restaurants in the area where you can eat and drink for less than £8 a head! The house is 60 minutes from the ski resort of Maribor, 1.5 hours to the largest lake in Europe, Lake Balaton, 3 hours from Budapest, 3 hours from Vienna and 3.5 hours from the beautiful beaches on the Croatian coast. We have an agent there that will assist all renters with any queries etc, we can also arrange to have the fridge stocked with food and drink prior to arrival. These services are provided at an additional cost and is subject to peak times.

The house is very easy to get to. From the UK the best route is to fly to Graz in Austria (Low cost airline Ryannair fly there) rent a car and its just over an hour from the airport. You could also fly into Lubijana, the capital (Low cost airline Easyjet fly here) and motor up after taking in the other sights of this beautiful country.

Slovenia is a truly beautiful country and the scenery is breath taking, you will have a very memorable stay and whether you want to relax and get away form it all or whether your into your outdoor activities the country has both and the house provides a great base for both too. Language is not a problem as many people speak English. The people are extremely friendly and helpful crime is practically non existent especially in the rural areas.
