This is a newly refurbished luxury apartment in central Kranjska Gora. It has been furnished to a very high standard and has recently been awarded 3 stars by the Slovenian Tourist Board. It has a comfortable homely contemporary feel, with the self-catering essential - a dishwasher! The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a building with 5 other apts. The apartment also has secure basement storage. (Parties up to 14 can be accommodated if next door apt also booked.) IN SUMMER: enjoy fantastic walks/cycles through the valley meadows, explore the local lakes and waterfalls or climb the mountain peaks. Activities include: walking, cycling, mountain-biking, climbing, tennis, swimming, golf, pony-trekking. IN WINTER: Kranjska Gora is Slovenia's leading ski resort. There are pistes suitable for skiers of all levels, ideal for beginners & intermediate skiers (English-speaking Ski school). Activities include skiing, snowboarding, cross-country & night skiing, ice-skating & sleigh rides.

Kranjska Gora is a small village situated in the extreme north-western corner of Slovenia 7km from the Italian and Austrian borders. Kranjska Gora is on the edge of the Triglav National Park which encompasses the imposing peaks of the Julian Alps together with vast forests, lakes and waterfalls. The apartment is located centrally just 200m from the village square, 550m from the ski slopes. (Nearest supermarket is 200m). The views of the mountains from the apartment are amazing. Slovenia is roughly the size and population of Wales, it joined the EU in 2004. The currency is the Euro. Although Slovenia has its own language, English is widely spoken, and the people are so friendly we have never had any communication problems. The country has a vast amount to offer, from its unspoilt alpine villages to its Mediterranean coastline. Places to visit include the capital, Ljubljana, the beautiful Lake Bled & Lake Bohinj and the spectacular Postojna caves.

| Notes: | Our newly refurbished apartment is homely and well equipped to ensure that guests can feel comfortable as soon as they arrive, the kitchen is very well equipped including the all important dishwasher. There are a selection of DVD's, board games and colouring things etc if required. There is also secure basement storage for ski equipment - or anything else! The apartment is on the second floor of a building with 5 other holiday apartments, and 2 residential flats. The building has its own private parking at the rear of the building. There is no internet access at the apartment, but most of the local hotels have computers with internet access in their foyers which are available for use by the public. More information about where to go can be found in the welcome folder in the apartment. There is a Spa and Swimming pool complex situated at the Hotel Larix at the bottom of the slopes, (550m) which is open to all, offering fun for children and relaxation for adults. |

Kranjska Gora is situated just a few miles from the Austrian and Italian borders. In the foothills of the Julian Alps, the village offers ski holidays in spectacular surroundings. Good skiing, especially for beginners and intermediates, combined with the friendliness of the Slovenian people and excellent value for money all add up to make Kranjska Gora Slovenia’s leading resort. The compact lift system and snow cannons provide day & night skiing on a wide variety of pistes. Other activities include snowboarding, cross-country skiing, ice climbing and sleigh rides. More experienced skiers can attempt the World Cup black run. The World Cup is held in Kranjska Gora in March each year, please check ski press for dates. Other skiing opportunities within a 1 hour drive of Kranjska Gora are: Bled, Bohinj, Bovec, Vogel and Tarvisio in Italy.
