The area is a paradise for outdoor activities lovers with 3 ski areas visible from the flats - Kranjska Gora (5 minute drive), Ratece (2 mins) & Tarvisio-Monte Lussari in Italy(20 mins), a large Nordic skiing centre & a world cup ski jump a few minutes drive away. 7 more ski resorts are within 30-60 mins drive. In Summer there is a wealth of superb mountain walking nearby as well as other sports including mountain biking, horse-riding, swimming (2 local pools) and a Summer sledging piste. Alternatively just taking in the view from the sunny balconies is highly recommended. The house is on the edge of a wonderful rustic Slovenian village with 4 excellent restaurants, bar and supermarket in walking distance.
