Exclusively situated on the beach in the picturesque fishing village of Hout Bay, 15 minutes from the centre of Cape Town, this luxury apartment has breathtaking views of famous Chapman’s Peak Drive, the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains of the Cape Peninsula. Situated on 3 levels, the apartment’s top level has a spacious lounge & bar area opening out onto a balcony with uninterrupted beach & sea views. Also on this level is the master bedroom, with a king-size bed, sitting area & en-suite bathroom. The ground level has a fully equipped kitchen with a spacious dining and casual seating area. 2 further bedrooms (one en-suite, king-size bed & one with double bed) complete the picture. Both bedrooms have ocean views and sliding doors for direct beach access. The basement level has a secure parking area with double garage & automatic doors. For perfect sun downers, the roof terrace has 360º views of Hout Bay! Enjoy a walk on the beach through the complex direct access gates.

Hout Bay has been affectionately self styled “The Republic of Hout Bay” because it satisfies virtually every need of those who live there and those who visit it. This little fishing village with its unique combination of fishing harbour ambiance & country atmosphere, and its long sandy beach on an ocean inlet framed by mountains, is quite exceptionally beautiful. Hout Bay is close to all major tourist attractions and is positioned centrally to form the ideal base from which to visit all the Cape Peninsula attractions and even the Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek Winelands. There are excellent facilities to pursue a very wide range of activities from the most adventurous to the most relaxing. Sunset Champagne Cruises to Cape Town’s Waterfront, Boat Trips to Seal Island in a glass bottomed boat and even Whale Watching. The list is virtually endless and for the less energetic it is simply a wonderful spot to relax, sip a glass of good South African wine and soak up the sun!

Perfect location, perfect vacation

Thank you, Ann, for allowing us to stay in your beautiful apartment in Hout Bay. The view from the apartment was amazing, and we had a great time. The apartment was bigger than it seemed from looking at the pictures, so we had plenty of room to spread out. The location was central to everything we wanted to do in the Cape Town area.

I'm glad I found your apartment on HomeAway, and I appreciate everything you did to make our vacation so wonderful!
