(3) A booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received, and the flights have been reserved. (4)The full balance is payable 8 weeks before arrival. (5) Guests are required to pay an inventory deposit of R2,000 per rental period, this shall be presented to the landlord on arrival and returned on the day of departure subject to there being no breakage's or damage. (6) 5th person policy - An additional charge of 5% of the week’s total rate shall be made for a 5th person
  • DIRECT TRANSFER PAYMENT: Euro zone clients can choose to pay in Euros in accordance with the ZAR v € exchange rate of the day therefore eliminating any unforeseen bank charges / commissions levied for electronic transfers by banks both ends. Arrival and departure days are FLEXIBLE: Minimum stay 4 nights Linen & towels changed weekly. The property is available from 12:00 hrs on arrival day, through to 10:00 hours on the day of departure. This is a general practice, yet on request we can allow earlier arrival &extensions depending on previous departing clients. We have a cot & high chair (at no extra cost). There is a 5% levy for an additional occupant.

Our stay in Clovelly

We first came to stay at the house in November 2006 but we loved it so much we came again in March 2008. The house itself is perfectly situated for exploring the Cape - only 20 minutes from Cape Town and only 2 minutes from the beach!

The house itself is lovely - bright and airy with a fantastic downstairs living area and terrace overlooking both the Indian and Atlantic oceans. Clovelly golf course is 200 metres away and offers an excellent rate to play in the afternoons. It's a great course, if a little windy!

Liz and Sebastian were lovely and very gracious hosts. They welcomed us personally when we arrived and brought a very welcome food parcel to keep us going which was fantastic after a long flight from London (with two very small children!). They gave us some excellent tips about where to eat out locally and what to do and see. Liz recommends the Olympia Cafe, down the road in Fish Hoek, for breakfast, lunch, dinner or any pastries inbetween - once we'd been there one, we went almost every single day after that. From the outside it doesn't look impressive, but the food is incredible!

We can't wait to get back to Cape Town and, when we do, we will certainly come and stay at the house again. We would recommend it without hesitation.

Our holiday stay in this luxury house and Cape.

The property was just what we wanted.My husband and 2 boys found the golf course fantastic very friendly,the boys even entered a competition with the members and had a fab day,i enjoyed the stroll down to the clubhouse to enjoy a glass of wine with the peacocks and the gorgeous views of the bay.The owners met us on arrival and told us everything we needed to know first class.We hired a car which Sebastian supplied for us.We visited Cape point which was about 15 minute drive away this was amazing,Table mountain is not to be missed,cape town and the drive we made to the safari park was another world.While staying in the house we enjoyed evenings sat on the large balcony admiring the views,and when eating out there are so many restraunts all excellant the people are the nicest in the world.As a couple and a family we have been all over the world ,but this holiday was one of the best places we have visited.The beaches and watching the whales from the side of the road was another experience.The gardens of the house were maintained by the most friendliest man,we felt very safe whilst staying in the house,we will definitely visit again.There are so many things to do whilst staying here you will never be bored.Once again many many thanks to Sebastian and his lovely wife Lizbeth.Hope to see you in the not too far future.Jane Mark Matty and Sam

Thank you both for your attention to detail with your lovely rental home. The location is ideal for either making the most of all Cape Towns attractions or just enjoying the setting and unwinding. Compared to our previous accommodation in Hout Bay it was not only better designed and equipped, but a joy to not feel the necessity to have bars and security measures that we found rather oppressive. Clovelly's relaxed atmosphere doesn't for one minute make one feel compromised, just pleased that such a place is available to people who are not only interest in golf. We shall be back, probably in Sept to see the Whales. Best of luck. James and Anna Stevens, Bristol UK.
Garry: Pretoria SA. Great stay. We looked at the development in 2004 and now wished we had had to sense to invest, especially as there are only 3 houses. At least we can now come and stay, when you have a vacancy, so I am not completely in the dog house! The kids loved surf school and my wife the Olympia cafe – stunning.
