Seaforth Cottage is beautifully furnished, with lime-wash cottonwood furniture and quarry-tiled flooring, and has everything you would need for a luxuriously comfortable stay. The spacious lounge, with views over False Bay, leads to an open-plan dining area and fully fitted kitchen with modern appliances. There are two double en-suite bedrooms each with their own verandah and magnificent sea views. The upstairs bedroom has a queen size double bed and en-suite with bath and separate, spacious shower. The downstairs bedroom has twin beds and an en-suite with another large shower. Both bathrooms have heated towel rails. Outside, you can relax in the heated pool next to the front patio, surrounded by a pretty garden and the view over the bay is breathtaking. As the garden is north-facing, you can relax on the patio, enjoying the sunshine all day and, perhaps, a barbecue in the evening. There is a pretty garden area behind the house, which gets the afternoon and evening sun.

Seaforth is situated on the Eastern side of the Cape Peninsular on the outskirts of Simonstown on False Bay. This is a 45 minute drive south of Cape Town city centre and is a perfect location on a sandy beach but close to all the major attractions of Cape Town.

stayed here in july 2006 (winter in RSA but still short sleeve weather) had a really good time - we wnt to ado elephant park for 3 days which I would recommend and Hermanus and frenchhoek which we liked (and the sea life centre in cape town). restaurant wise they were almost all good (very good in fact and so cheap which with 2 teenage boys was brilliant) I would recommend the harbour house in Kalk Bay (but book) for seafood and balthazars on the waterfront for steaks. A surprise for us was the penguins walking down the road in simonstown (boulder bay is 200 yds away and is a huge penguin colony) and watching the whales jumping was also an added bonus.
