A beautiful fully furnished family home in upmarket Rondebosch, with views of Devil's Peak. All decor is of the highest standard & the property is in immaculate condition. The house comprises of the following accommodation: Downstairs - formal sitting room, open plan kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher, dining room with table and chairs to seat 8. TV lounge with double sofa bed, TV, video and DVD player. Downstairs: cloakroom, laundry with washing machine & tumble dryer leading onto courtyard with rotary line. Guest bedroom with double bed and ensuite bathroom and shower. 3 sets of French doors lead from the downstairs rooms, onto the veranda. Upstairs accommodation comprises of stunning air-conditioned master bedroom with king size bed, ensuite bathroom and balcony. Twin bedroom and further single bedroom plus a family bathroom. Outside there is a beautiful heated pool, hot tub, wooden playground with swings, slide & climbing frame all set within a large garden.

Rondebosch is one of Cape Town's most presitgious suburbs, situated at the base of Table Mountain. It is full of beautiful tree-lined streets. All shops and amenities, including restaurants, supermarkets, chemists etc are nearby with Cavendish Shopping Mall only 5 minutes by car. Also within walking distance (approx 20 mins) are Newlands cricket and rugby grounds. This is an ideal base to explore Cape Town and the whole peninsula.

Further Information on the property: All linen and towels are provided. Weekly maid service is included in the price. The pool is maintained on a weekly basis and the garden is tended every week. The property has an electrically operated gate and garage door and has an alarm system which is linked to a 24 hour response company.

The Area: Rondebosch is a beautiful upmarket suburb at the base of Table Mountain. The city centre is approximately 8km away and beaches within 12 km. This is a great base for exploring the Cape Peninusla, being very central to all the attractions. Newlands cricket and rugby grounds are within walking distance, and the Waterfront is about 12km away.

Meet & Greet: If you like, we can arrange for you to be met at the airport by our House Manager, who will then escort you to the property and show you how everything works. There will be an additional charge for this service. Alternatively, if you are hiring a car from the airport, you can make your own way to the house, where you will be met on your arrival.

We had a marvellous time at your house and everything was perfectly in order. It was very much suitable for our children as well. We loved it very much and we might come back next winter bringing our twin babies as well. We live and work in Moscow and we do need to escape the long and cold winter now and then.

The owner of this property was excellent and the rental went smoothly. The house is clean, bright and very spacious. It had all the self catering facilities you could want.The garden and pool was good for our 3 yr old son. Reven the house manager was welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this property to friends and would stay there again.

My family, 9 of us in total, stayed at the property during December 2007 and we loved it.
The house itself is situated in a lovely quiet residential area, which is clean and feels very safe.

As we drove towards the house we had those nerves that we all get when you arrive at the place that you will be staying on holiday, however the house was amazing!
We pulled in to a massive garage and driveway, which was ideal secure parking for our 2 hire cars.

The property itself is huge. There was plenty of living and eating space for the 9 of us. I was well-equipped and lovely décor throughout. The garden is grassed and big enough to explore and as we sunbathed you could catch a glimpse of one of the mountains, which are one of the many things we love about South Africa. Great sized pool that is maintained weekly.

There are shops, which are a matter of minutes away and a mall, which is about 10 minutes away. This has a cinema, which we went to a few times during our stay.
It took us about 20 minutes by car to get to the Victoria and Albert waterfront and driving was no problem at all.

I must also quickly mention the maid Alice, who is amazing. It was strange for us initially contemplating having a maid however there is no benefit system in South Africa so if she doesn’t work she doesn’t get any money. We asked her to come to the house a few times a week and she would happily busy herself with the washing and ironing, which is a massive help when there is 9 of you!!
The housekeeper Cheryl was also great. Very friendly and easily contactable if you should have any issues she will gladly sort them out.

I could honestly write many more positive things about this property and can say that
we would definitely consider this property again should we return to South Africa, which I am sure we will!!

Myself and my family had a wonderful 2 week stay in Cape Town. The house is very spacious and well equipped. The garden and pool were much appreciated after a busy day sightseeing. The location was ideal as we enjoyed peace and quiet yet were only 15-20 mins from the centre of the city.
I would recommend this house as an ideal base for a family visit to what has now become my favourite part of the world. Can't wait to go back.,

We had a Great time at the house, It had everything you needed for a family holiday, The management agent was very helpful, and always on hand for advice where to go.
The house is spotless and a safe secure location, great garden and swimming pool. We visit Cape Town once a year and will be back thanks Kevin
