The views stretch 210 degrees out across the bay to Hangklip to the back of Table Mountain and to Hout Bay. The house is crafted from local natural stone and indigenous woods such as kiaat, yellow wood and cottonwood. On the first floor there is a designer kitchen with imported hob, dishwasher and washer-drier. This opens into a dining area and a generous reception room with view balcony. This flows to a private garden with Koi pond and solar-heated plunge pool. The second floor comprises three en suite bedrooms furnished to a high standard. In season, whales can be viewed from the comfort of your bed!

Simon's Town is 40km south of Cape Town City Centre. It is situated on the eastern slopes of the Cape Peninsula overlooking False Bay and the Indian Ocean. To the South lies the beautiful Cape Point nature reserve. The town was named after Simon van der Stel and was a naval base for the Royal Navy from 1814. Most of the Cape Peninsula's many sights can be accessed by 30 minutes car drive including the Historic Constantia vineyards, the Stellenbosch wine lands, the beaches of Hout Bay and Clifton and the city centre with Robben Island ferries. Simon's Town itself retains its colonial charm. A smaller version of the famous Victoria and Albert Waterfront looks out across False Bay with restaurants and boat hire. And of course the African penguins ('Jack-ass') have their home at Boulder's beach 10 minutes drive from the house. Surfing beaches at Fish Hoek and Muizenberg are 10 minutes way. And a secluded swimming beach is Simon's Town's best kept secret.
