Additional information about rental rates

  • Rental Rates: The above rates are a guide and are subject to change without notice. Rates may be negotiated for longer stays.

    Rental Conditions: Quotations are valid for 3 days. Following acceptance of a quotation it is only confirmed once a deposit of 50% has been received by the owner within a further 3 days. The balance is payable 30 days at latest prior to arrival. In addition a security deposit of 250 pounds sterling is required which will be refunded after departure, after deduction for any damages, extra costs and/or telephone calls. If any rental or deposit payment is not received timeously the owner reserves the right to cancel the booking immediately without notice.
  • Cancellation: In the event of a cancellation after payment, guests forfeit their confirmation deposit of 50% or the full 100% rental if within 30 days. A 'no show' will also forfeit the full 100% rental. There will be no refunds apart from the security deposit. If however a substitute booking is made for the full period at the same or better rate then a penalty of 20% of the rental fee will be retained.

    Currency: Currency exchange variations and bank transaction costs will vary but are charged to the guest at cost.
  • Check in/out Times: Check in is permitted after 1400 hours on day of arrival and check out must be by 10.00 hours on day of departure. Outside these times check in/out may be allowed at the discretion of the owner and depends on circumstances. If such early/late check in or check out is permitted, there will be an extra handling charge of £40. There is also a minimum charge of £40 for check in or check out during weekends and public holidays.

    Cleaning: There is a mandatory basic house cleaning and bed linen changing service for stays over 7 days, at a time and date to be agreed with the guest at the start of the stay.

  • Both of the bedrooms are on the upper level of this duplex property. The main bedroom has a super-kingsize bed, and ensuite bathroom and leads onto the balcony. The second bedroom has twin beds, and a cot may be arranged. There is a second bathroom for the second bedroom. Both bedrooms have magnificent views over the sea and have direct access onto the balcony which is furnished with a table and seating for four. Downstairs there is a third bedroom or study and shower with toilet. It is partitioned off from the living room and has a queen size sofa bed to accommodate one adult or two small children.

The house’s magnificent views over Camps Bay can be seen from the bedrooms, balcony and garden which are private and tranquil. The garden has indigenous flowers, is furnished and has a barbeque, is a suntrap in the winter and in the summer canopies shade balcony and garden from the sun, and the house is cooled throughout by electric ceiling fans, attractive bamboo blinds, and sea breezes. There is small swimming pool for guests within 80 metres. In the winter, should it be cold enough there is heating in all the rooms The study is equipped as an office, with PC connection, and fax/answer phone, or to sleep on sofabed with shower and toilet en suite. Perfect accommodation for romantic, golf or other activity holidays, and business travellers wanting to be away from the city centre, but with quick access to Cape Town.
