Perched on the mountainside overlooking the picturesque village of Jalon stands our villa called 'THE 39 STEPS' ascending these will facilitate breathtaking 180 degree vistas of the village, mountains and the valley floor below. The extremely well equipped villa has a unique location at the top of the urbanisation affording complete privacy, backing directly onto the mountain means it is not overlooked. There is extensive south facing terracing around the pool, so relax in peace on the large shady covered naya or take just two steps down to enjoy the sun or a dip in the pool. Evenings are delightful to just sit on the balmy naya with the pool lit, overlooking the twinkling lights of Jalon below, the scent of the herbs wafting from the mountains and the cicadas 'chirping' away in the dark, another world.

The 39 Steps is situated on the mountainside overlooking the village of Jalon which is surrounded by vineyards and almond trees. The renowned Jalon Valley, famous for its local wine, lies equidistant between Alicante and Valencia just inland from the town of Benissa and close to the villages of Alcalali and Lliber. You will be conveniently placed for several pleasant beach resorts including Calpe, Javea, Moraira and Denia. Benidorm and Spain's answer to Disney World, Terra Mitica, which is also just a short drive away or alternatively discover real Spain by exploring the many charming unspoilt rural villages close by. If you enjoy Golf within 20 minutes drive there are 3 excellent Golf Courses, La Sella, Javea & Ifach, and you will be welcome to play a round, easily arranged through The Jalon Valley Golf Society, an offer exclusive to guests of 'The 39 Steps'. Whilst all children are very welcome the villa may not be suitable for toddlers owing to its topography.

There is a sofabed in the lounge to provide additional double bed should this be required. Very well equipped with glasses, crockery and utensils also including iron, Ironing board and hairdryer. Towels and Pool towels included with no additional charge for laundry. English TV with 20 channels including Sky Sports and Movie channels, Video Player with Video Library, Books and Games available for use. Garden seating extends to exclusive stone mosaic patio table & benches on the separate southeast facing terrace area, glass topped patio table and chairs with parasol and for the Naya (covered porch area) a lovely cane suite with glass topped coffee table. Also there is a purpose built BBQ area with lighting and an authentic stone BBQ with seating for 8 and sun loungers. Smoking not allowed inside the Villa. Off road parking for 2 cars.
